Chris may I suggest you try POLISHANGEL to coat your car? Also for the inside...very expensive but by far the best. You will love it...Did you ever consider the black cladding?
Nice video again, Kris, and I'm impressed about your impecable interior! What type of baby napkins are you using, that cleans but leaves no traces of soap?
I’m so sorry about your car!! You should get paint protection vinyl; it’s a bit like a wrap, but it’s see through and it protects metal against corrosion and stone chips, it’s a really worthwhile investment!!
Great review Kris. Would appreciate if you could let me know how frequent you use the 360 camera and is it a must for xc90? As I'm getting one without it and couldn't be installed by Volvo. Thanks in advance!

Hey Kris! Watched a few of your videos and am curious about your thoughts on software updates. You mentioned in this video that the brake pedal feel is odd and artificial, have any updates fixed this? I'm thinking about buying my wife a CPO 2018 in 6 months to a year but I'm worried if they haven't fixed the pedal feel that she won't want the T8. I'm positive it's something I could love with, but if she doesn't like it, I don't think she'll put up with it. Any other thoughts on total software updates you've gotten? Thanks for the info, great channel!

How is the space inside, with child seat? Do you have to move the front passenger seat forward to fit the child seat in the 2nd row? Can you fit a large stroller in the trunk longitudinal, without place it across so It takes up all the space?

I've had the V90CC for 18 months and this noise started in the summer but weirdly enough only present during longer journeys.
Tried pressing all the plastic panels on and around the seats but couldn't point to the exact spot where this noise was coming from and obvioulsy while driving it's even more difficult to be looking for it.
This weekend during a long ride the noise started again and I remembered what you said about holding the seatbelt buckle and push it forward, and there it was....NOISE GONE!!!
what´s your fuel consumption average?
You mentioned a full electric version coming out, can you share more info on that, I'm planning on ordering a XC60 t8 2020 for myself

Kris, have you tried a 2020 T8? Supposedly the brake pedal feel has been fixed (I've only driven the 2020 so I don't know what the earlier version felt like, but I didn't notice anything strange with the brakes.)

Hi Kris, I keep hearing that the brakes on the xc90 needs replacing way earlier than it’s competition ( q7,x5). Did you experience this during your ownership?
Hi Kris! Great video. Haven’t you had electronic anomalies in your two XC90s? Mine has now close to 2 years and 60.000 km and still have a number of unsolved glitches, even after a number of updates and resets - (1) the right mirror does not recover the exact position after tilting down to the parking position; and (2) the position of lumbar support moves from the memorized position when you press the memory number key. I have actually just given a final warning to Volvo - either they fix this on the visit due next week or I am requesting a compensation for product non-conformity.

Hi Kris! I'm considering uograding my D4 to a T8, just like you did. But I do mostly motorway, and have some concerns on mileage, since the electric motor does not help much, there. What % increase in consumption should I expect in motorway driving? Thanks!
If you do motorways mostly then diesel is still the way to go.
Im in a dilemma, do I buy a old xc90 or a new with all the features I want (black exterior/black leather/air suspension and so on)?
You can, but remember that you have to prepare some repair money, if its equipped with aisin automatic gearbox.

Erik Almere I’d suggest to buy 2019 with more improvements.
Any issues with the engine light? Mine is constantly on, I’ve taking it to the dealership three times ; they keep doing upgrades, two weeks later the engine light is on again, so aggravating.

@@KrisRifa If you mostly do highway trips there's no point in getting hybrid/petrol engine. On the other hand if you mostly drive around town then hybrid/petrol is the way to go. Why did Kris get the T8 instead of D5? Probably just for fun and sheer curiosity. I wonder if you can have 0 consumption if you charge every night and do no more than 30/40 km per day? @@boban61 Before I had my T8 I had a D4, so I wanted something more powerful and much more refined. And at the time they changed the taxes on hybrids in Norway making the T8 cheaper than the D5... so for me it was a no brainer :) Now, I drive an E-Tron though.
Yikes Kris, that damage to the left rear bumper is not a great endorsement for the rear parking sensors and backup camera🙁🙁
well he said the sensors were beeping and that he didnt even look at the camera. The backup camera is best HD picture you ll ever see. That was him being in a hurry or careless. Definitely not the car's fault.
Not sure if I missed this but did Kris mention about fuel economy?
Not this video. But in one if the older ones, where Kris drives for all the day to Sweden (?). It averaged roughly as regular T6, just with extra 100 hp :)

I saw this volvo xc 40 coming out and i thought why not get some information 😀 went to the volvo dealer closeby saw it and thought why should i even think about it 😉 it looks amazing !!! And then we came to talk what kind of engine i wanted i said i don't care of it is fr/awd and i asked is the t3 bad ?? He said 1 thing "you need to drive it before you buy it" so i did 3 full hours on a Nice sunny saturday 😂🤣😂 only thing i know i was mostly going a bit too fast but i loved it right away. Si when i brought the xc 40 back i said "if i didn't go back now i would've kept it" 😂🤣😂 for a 3 cillinder engine it is actually good and i loved the harman kardon system too only it was 250W i picked the 600W for mine that is good enough . I just bought my third Volvo. I had 850,V40 and now - 07 XC90 D5 Diesel. Drived something like 320tkm (my "new" XC90) . If I would be a sensible person, I would have buyed a car under 1000€... This was something like 7000€.The car will be long dead, at the time I will be able to pay the loan ;)
Well, such is life :)
But at least, I can say I have once got a car, that I truly wanted to own and that I truly love.
Hope to win in lottery in future, so I could once try something like new XC90 or 60 or 40 xD

I love the look of cream interiors, but would NEVER buy a car with that colour interior - always black for me.... for the very reasons you mention - you don’t see the marks.
It is ranked the least reliable luxury SUV due to problems with Sensus touchscreen
