On June 6 1944, D-Day. C company of the 2nd ranger battalion was tasked with supporting the 116th Infantry Regiment in their landings at omaha beach.
All Assets to their respective owners aside from the few I made myself

@@Opinare funny enough it spr beach scene was filmed in ireland and most of the background actors for the beach scenes were amputees and soldiers from the irish reserves

Context: some German soldiers begged for the allied soldiers to not kill them, by screaming bitte (please in german) , but one of the soldiers shot them both and turned to his fellow soldier and said: I wonder what bitte means?

This deserves so much more than 389 views, I tried doing this before with moon animator, and i sucked at it. its good to see somebody doing this in memoration of D-day aniversary!

My actual animation isnt really fluid like most out there but thanks man, I usually make up for it with the visuals

Its the first time ive seen the british higgins boat operators in ANY dday movie/film/ep. The attention to detail. Each division, regiment, battalion, company etc. Is all accurate. Amazing film.

The C-Frame bombs were kinda rough but overall the whole thing was pretty damn good. Not bad!
I CANNOT APPRECIATE THIS ENOUGH, the detail of this is so accurate, even the part with the fake vent system and the fact that a lot of the tank didn't make it ashore, while SPR did make references to the DD Tanks not landing, you had a whole scene saying that the tanks didn't make it ashore props too you, and the research and time you took to do this.
A lot of the tanks on the right side sectors of the beach actually did make it including the tank battalion attached to the 116th rct, its why in the video they just referenced the tanks having a hard time landing ashore instead of straight up saying they sank to the bottom of the channel, its the sectors on the left side of the beach with the first infantry division where the tanks sank and all that
The officers in-charge of the right flank realized the waves were too big of a risk to launch the dd-tanks too far away from the shore so they got a little closer to the beach for them to be able to launch with minimal problems
I love how he used the gore to do this animation, this is the most perfectly and realistic Roblox Animation Of D-Day.
10:15 Just love how you put the detaill of the fake ventilation of the Bunker! You have the war animations to do them more realistic! You need a lot more of Suscribers Man!!

I like how this exact audio and footage looks exactly like saving private Ryan... nothing against you it's just kind of funny but I do love WW2 scenes and I've never seen a ROBLOX version, and this is awesome!

and yes the set and 70% of the scenes are inspired and based on saving private ryan, (might do a much more original and historically accurate set in the future)

Edit: Yo guys, I just realized USS Texas in reality was nowhere close enough to omaha beach to have been able to see the beach in the angles i depicted here, bro was like all the way over to pointe du hoc, my bad (reply here to mention more mistakes I missed aside from the obvious unrealistic saving private ryan german bunker and bluffs that lacks the draws)

I love the small detail at 10:15 where they throw a grenade into the vent, and a rolls back out! As this was an actual defense implemented by the Reich. Well done!

I can't really offer any comfort but in real life they would probably have been laid to rest in full military honors. So at least they are given recognition for their sacrifice.
I watched this videos when I wasn’t signed in, but this was a video that didn’t feel like Roblox, and the real veteran and videos shown to top it off made this a hidden gem for a Roblox video, R.I.P. to everyone who died that day, whether you fought your ass off or were torn up by an MG before you got off the boat you were still someone. I like how you based it off the scene from saving private ryan on the first scene and later on the next scene call of duty world war 2 (2019) and go back to saving private ryan . The animation is really good as well

80 years since Guam was liberated, 80 years since Monte Cassino was bombed, 80 years since Anzio was liberated, and later, Rome. 80 years since 600,000 Jewish people alone were killed in concentration and death camps. 80 years since 10,000 men gave up their lives to save 1.2 million more displaced people from being potentially killed from more war. 80 years since Operation Neptune succeeded. It can't be a happy anniversary but it is certainly something to remember.
2:46 I like the small detail that the landing craft is being operated by a British Royal Navy Sailor, as in reality it was British sailors who sailed these landing craft with American soldiers onto the shore (This also includes Utah Beach. The British and Canadian landing craft were also manned by British Sailors) Nice small detail ^^

my grandfather was unlucky enough to land on omaha himself. never told his story to me, i hardly knew him at all. he survived the battle and came home with PTSD. died in 2022.

one small suggestion would be using more faces into the characters, to give depth and nice characteristics to them. Overall, very good and well made animation, definitely subscribing.

the detail, and the portayal of the american forces by using saving private ryan, which was known to be the most true-to-life to veterans is good, the american, british and french forces did a good job with the landing.

the part with the one american soldier crying out for his mom is so sad. i get that this animation isnt real and that situation also might have not been real but it also could have been since some young men were drafted into war with no choice. truly heartbreaking to think about.

neat only thing i don't like is the dumb saving private ryan bunkers and the the men getting shot down in their boats in the first wave which happened but not that much
one thing i love is that you changed it to Charlie sector if it was dog green like everyone does then pretty much everything would be wrong the boats, the shingle but you made the smart move and changed the sector good job!!!!
thanks for noticing the charlie sector change!, I went into a deep dive of the things saving private ryan researched while making this, while I still opted to make the place look like the movie mostly I still tried to sneak in a lot of details and such
