Here John spends some time to help raise money for charity. This comes from a sampler of the uncut 16mm film, sorry this is how I got it... Parts of the film are silent.
I met John at a WFIL 'meet & greet' outside the studio where he autographed my bootleg 'Live In Japan' LP...he was very interested in too...then I asked if he wanted to jam with my high school band and he said 'me record company wouldn't like that' all you need is love to give peace a chance...J.O.L. R.I.P.
Early in Larry Kane's carreer he traveled an entire tour with the "Beatles" and became to really like and respect John. Larry holds some record about his tour. Wink Martindale was also another reporter to travel with the 'The Fab Four' but there is somthing special about Larry's time with them. I'll find it
Larry's book about his time with the Beatles was great. Ticket to Ride. Did not know that about Wink Martindale. And by the way - Upper Darby (Tower Theater - so many great shows).
I was there with John and the Boss Chicks for the weekend. Took calls for 3 days, partied and had a ball ..in many ways..I had 10 copies of the "Mind Games" 45 he was giving away..that was when our country was trying to depoer him & yoko ...what a great time that was...ever see 5 chicks cover 1 guy? Wheres those Boss chicks now ?
It’s nice to see John laughing and happy. That crazy one took away our dreams, we could have had more of John and maybe The Beatles. I’m determinded that They would have played in 1985 in the benefit concert for our world.

John was happy & laughing because he was on his "lost weekend" separation from Yoko, and was unshackled to be his old self.

He was at WFIL first, went over to WABC in New York, and then WCAU.
