"Serpents... " isn't really that great of a cover IMO. Good album though for sure. But I understand why dawg cites that as his favorite deicide as it was his introduction. And as far as Wes Benscotter, I don't think there is a bad album cover he's done for sure. One of my favorite extreme metal illustrators. Along with Dan Seagrave, Necrolord and Ed Repka.
I think doing both Flat bench and incline is good for all around strength and hypertrophy. I do flat for strength and incline with dumbbells for growth. It honestly comes down to preference and what’s best for your needs. Same with squats. Some people can get away with just doing one movement and grown like a motherfucker and other need to do other movements to compensate if it’s needed. It all comes down to the person and their stimulus needs.
In my opinion the dawg is wrong about calling compound lifts inferior. Everybody's mechanics are different. An easy way to see that is people of the same height with different length limbs. Two people the same height but different height hips dramatically changes the motion or the leverage of something like Flys with different arm lengths. Also most people getting huge quads from something like leg extensions are almost always on enough gear to cause people close to thems hair to fall out
