I loved this game so much. It was one of the first games I bought with my own money. Actually I have to say that I kinda miss the times where I didn't know about reviews and such and just bought a game because the box looked cool and the description on the back did so too. Ahhh, good times :D
Extreme G was a phenomenal racer, and one of the top three or four for the N64. We used to play it with the infinite turbo cheat enabled and eviscerate the sound barrier. And the coolest bike was the sleek blue, NEON. If you liked this one, pick up Extreme G III for the Gamecube, if you can find it.
Extreme G is a good arcade racing game for the Nintendo 64. Great electro musics, interesting tracks and design, nice shoot'em up mode, fun multiplayers mode (battle arena). Some negative points: it's too easy to get ahead other racers so you may feel lonely on the road and you never brake because there is no real penalty when you touch walls. Anyway that "review" is a 90's rag.
I own both games, these are a must have on N64, I'm like you, missed playing them when they came back in the day but I had them cheap when i found them on a flea market 5 months ago !

This is not a good review- it sounds like she only spent like 15 minutes playing it. All she talks about is menu options and what colors the powerups are... I bet she didn't even complete the main competition mode before making this video.
If you like this game you can check out Wipeout HD on the ps3. Also I remember to play one game on the gamecube that I think was called Extreme G3 Racing, I suppose its a sequel.

@SH4D0WS74LK there's nothing wrong with the wii, there's something wrong with the third party developers. also, VC=virtual console. and a real gamer dont give a shit about graphics.
@M1XART nope, the wii games are 87 times better than kinect and move games, hell even cruis'n is better than most of the kinect and move games. but looks just as good? no.
