Thanks for the video content. This looks like the plant I purchased from the grocery store. I knew it was a philodendron because of the leaves, but didn't know the exact name. The plant was sold in a very nice planter for about $30. The planter had information as to design and what made it so elegant. The plant, which was in a green 6" nursery pot, had a sticker which said "Not For Individual Sale".
Your video makes sense to me now as to why the ceramic pottery was being sold instead of the plant.
I wanted the plant because most philodendrons with big leaves grow to be very big plants. The ceramic pot is nice and comparable to other planters of style purchased for Serenity Garden Aviary.

Hi, thanks for commenting, i agree that what you paid for was probably and basically the pot, and the plant itself was more of a free extra…😊

I have this plant too and it is so lovely. I didn't pay much for it either.

Wow that’s lovely. I bought a similar size one, for $15, and that was on sale!

I live in America but I was born in Malaysia. Just got into 🏠 house plants few months ago. Came across of this plant, have not bought it yet. Trying to do some research how big it grows for my space is limited. It is called Malay Gold for its origin is from Malaysia. ❤😊😂

hey thank you for commenting…this malay gold can grow quite tall but no worries you can cut it back without any problem, and use the cuttings to create new plants!
