The US Hot Rod Battle of the Monster Trucks and Mud Bog Drag Racing Spectacular from the Omaha Civic Auditorium in Omaha, Nebraska on ESPN. Six of the nation's top monster trucks are in attendance to take part in a timed competition. The best mud racers take on a very challenging mud pit. Also included is the Dash for Cash.

Not sure if this was the show I went to as a kid, but we were up in the nosebleed seats. The exhaust fumes from the methanol being burned was pretty nasty, I vaguely recall the fact my eyes constantly watered the later it got. Not sure if it was this show, but winter time, January-February late 80's. Probably a different show, no mud pit. Remember one of the trucks overshot the end, killswitch was triggered but the monster truck slammed the end of the area.

Lil Bearfoot n Lon Ranger hit those cars beautifully!..Let's be honest, y'all know you were laughing at big girl that got stuck in the mud after a beach ball..Had to get TOWED out..N then finally ROLLS out of the mud pit 😂
