- In this video I am fishing on an overnight kayak fishing river camping trip with my buddy Alex Meadows on a small Tennessee creek. We camped out on a sandbar and it was my first kayak camping trip in a couple of years, so it was good to do a shakedown and realize how much stuff I forgot (and didn't need to bring) before doing more of these overnight camping trips this year. Really enjoy camping/fishing/YAK videos! Keep em' coming and this is the main way that I fish rivers. Buffalo National River is my favorite; usually put in and camp within the riverbanks for five to seven days while fishing the entire time. Hope you'll make a trip there soon!

I never thought i would make #Tennessee my place where I would stay for awhile we have been here for five years this time and we were previously here for five before. Chad you hit the nail on the head when you want to be in the cross between the north and the south. The access to great places like this in the content is in abundance all you have to do is a little research to access them.

Definitely like these type of videos, new kayak angler and trying to learn as much as possible! Only have a couple months before a deployment so trying to pack in as many caught fish and water paddled as possible.

I've been a lot of places in my life and Tennessee has some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen. The people are awesome. I've lived here 17 years now and I'm proud to call this place my home.
Camped and floated the Kings River here in Arkansas. Caught 12 around 2lbs average. I might have to make a trip to Tennessee now. Awesome video

This is going to sound crazy, but I’ve tried it and it works as long as there is coverage. But try Uber, as long as there is service available, you can leave your kayak in a “hiding spot” and then Uber back to your truck and then come back and grab your gear. I’m working on a trip now where I can do it the other way and Uber back to my kayak and then my truck will be there when I get to the take out.
