bluetooth is so important for many cellphone plc budget projects... also, the esp32 bluetooth module $10 arduino-ide-compatible is very koool ☺ thank you AD
@romanticbrain18 there isn't a disable wireless switch like some laptops and wireless devices have. The antenna is removable so if you were to remove it you would effectively disable the wireless that way.
Good video. Question on the click, the first 4 inputs have interrupt capability. I use them as counters. Is this capability perserved on new click plus?
@@automationdirect On the product page for the DC input option slot module, it says that all the usual high-speed stuff normally available with the Ethernet models (including interrupts) is available on this PLUS module. Example: www.automationdirect.com/pn/C2-14D2
@@automationdirect Okay great. Where can I see the modbus reference? Also how much NVM is available to the user? What channel is best to ask these questions? I posted a message on the PLC fourm.
I would advise contacting Tech support, they will be able to help you the fastest. Either call at 1-800-633-0405 or contact them through the community site at community.automationdirect.com/s/contactsupport
AB: "You can't create a fully capable modern controller for less than $1000.00 and a kidney."
AD: "Hold my big brain."
That about sums it up!
I can’t wait to get one of these. Thanks Automation Direct!
Thanks you for the praise. You will love the new features.

@Q Zorn, Thanks for the praise ! Will pass it on to the developers.
Additional question. What is fate of ardunio line. Are more advanced models considered?
Glenn, There is a line extension scheduled for later this year. Thanks
Thanks. Additional question. Does click plus allow update of time. The old clicks didnot allow that capability.
Glenn, the NEW CLICK PLUS CPUS does allow for SNTP service for time update over network service. Thanks.
Is it possible to physically (not in software) disable the wireless controllers?

That is so cool 😎 can not wait to use 1 of these on my next project.
Thanks for the praise Brian!!!!
Once the Wifi is connected to my network is it possible to make program changes over that connection?
@FooosPhoenix, absolutely. you can program the CLICK PLUS over the WIFI connection.
Good video. Question on the click, the first 4 inputs have interrupt capability. I use them as counters. Is this capability perserved on new click plus?
Glenn, That feature does cross to the new CLICK PLUS also.

Does the Click Plus have some user NVM? Is there an Python/C++ API I can use to READ and WRITE to this?
The CLICK PLUS does not have an API directly for this operation. You can read and write to the CLICK PLUS externally if you use Modbus or EtherNet/IP.

Was so excited about these that I bought one just “tinker” with.
Yep, low cost, in stock, fast free delivery. Gotta love it!
How do we connect mqtt from click plus?
Amarin, please see this video for MQTT with CLICK PLUS: ruclips.net/video/pzIRrtyQdDw/видео.html
