Loving the drone work Luke also, I’m starting a new tramping job soon. So some of your video was very useful for reference 😺 And the rest of the video was gold as always
Pardon me for droning on about the content of this video... but that was rather enjoyable Mr C. Lovely part of the world. I am happy you got to go home and see the wife to be and little ones. All the best to you all.
Hi Luke, I used to deliver steel castings to the Tin Mine at Pendeen in Cornwall (Now a museum I believe), in my trusty AEC Mercury, in the late 70's. My base was Scunthorpe Lincs, so it was quite run. In Winter, a bit of a challenge, but in Spring/Summer, the scenery was breathtaking and has stayed with me. Happy days, a different world ago! Keep safe mate.
To the answer of number 2 when sleeping out. Use a carrier bag and then rebag in another bag. use washlets (moist toilet wipes). When you wake up, find a bin on your travels and throw it in the bin
Thanks again Luke for these vids and I agree with others about the drone work. I commented that the first drone footage I'd seen was by Kev Tee, when he was in Scotland and I look forward to more of yours. The scenery is so green compared to a lot of Queensland.
Ah, Cornwall Services, my regular stop when I'm doing the Truro Mail Centre run, mind you it's always closed when I go there (except the parking of course, and the petrol forecourt is open 24/7). I always spin her around rather than blindside.
Great vid as usual. Have fun here in Grantham, traffic always gridlock. Looking forward to seeing you in my neck of the woods. I have been watching you since the tarmac days. I enjoy seeing how your day goes and I don’t even drive a hgv. I drive tractors and forklifts for a living but I load a lot of lorry’s in my job. Good to see the perspective of the lorry driver. Form my point of view being the one that loads the pallets on you guys. I always try and be as fast as I can to get you on your way. Cheers for the great vids Luke. Can not wait for the next one. Thanks Ross Ps I take it this was last week.
Great vlog buddy and even greater views especially with the drone footage, absolutely love that we deffo need to see more ;-) Also great sound from the new mic, much much better :-) Hoping you did vlog the Grantham trip, will be good to see some local roads :D Hope your well and keep safe

Bit of along old boring road is the A1 up to Grantham luke. But I suppose once you’ve seen one dual carriageway they all look the same I suppose. Steady on the way down the hill👍🏻
Thank you Luke Enjoyed part 2 of your videos. Loved the Drone footage As a old fart know nothing about Drones. Would it be Possible to a bit of footage on how you fly it with the Controls panel showing the working. Thank you. Take care and Stay safe and safe Trucking.

can you reduce the volume level of the music at the start of your vlogs, my corsair headset said volume was at 34, had to turn down to 8, for same level volume as you talking, and then back up to 34 to hear you speaking. I know I am hard of hearing, but loud music like that will make others deaf as well, especially if listening through a headset. Thanks Luke.
Shame I didn't know you were coming down my way, would have come down to Hayle to say hello...or at least stand on a bridge and waved ya as you went past. I live in Pool right next to the A30 so you would have driven like 500ft from flat.
I’ve lost count of the amount of times I get told “are you sure that’s for here”. I just say well yeah I’m not coming in here for the fun of it. It’s got your address so it must be for here
Hi Luke been watching your channel now for a while my i ask what video software are you using to edit. I have a drone now for English Civil war re-enactment. Hoping to see you all at Devon Show.
Hi Luke as much as the drone footage made great viewing did you actually park facing East Bound ? As the video makes it appear you performed a 180 into the layby ? Raises a few questions ? since it is clearly signposted No Entry at the first entrance and No U Turn into the second (Google Maps and Street View) to precisely stop vehicles crossing the main traffic flow on a main road right hand bend cresting the brow of a steep(Ish) hill Secondly how far east did you travel in the morning to turn around ? as the exit clearly shows no right turn? Asking as a fellow Driver who has already been bitten by social media posts
Hi mate, to answer your first question, Yes i did park East Bound. to answer your second, In the morning i traveled less than a mile up the road to the fuel station where i turned around.
ANd i assume you are going to ask how i turned around whilest heading westbound to face eastbound so ill answer that too, about another mile west bound there is a layby, its a weird looking one where you can drive in and reverse back, i did that and then U turned out of that layby back eastbound. :) Not the first time either.
Thanks for taking the time to answer and I know both lay by and garage well ! I was just interested as the video (07:47 - 07:50) made it appear you turned straight in (Angle of travel and slowed traffic westbound) And having been caught out by the FB police and geo tagging didn't want the same to happen to others, Keep up the channel (Its always good fun watching others deal with the same Bull. Why do you need to do a print out to get your driving time? I drive a 65 plate Daf and all the driving time info is available on the dash display.

Paigntons on Devon not cornwall
Can somebody please recommend me an app to help pass my hgv theory.

It's in the description.
Did you actually say you are "fully empty"?
PHILPS !! Not Phelps - and you are wrong, because Blakes at Doublebois (A38) are much better!
Should be a toilet block at every layby in the UK. The way truckers are treated in this country is rididculous.
