- Van life comes with so many problems but with these 5 upgrades, this lifestyle has changed FOREVER. We now have steady internet anywhere in the world with Starlink. My back is feeling better now because of that standing desk. Ana & I have more privacy with that partition, and we never have to worry about running out of power again. Living in a van doesn't have to be miserable

You can put the starlink antenna inside of something; I saw one where someone put a tire cover over theirs and it looks like they have a tire strapped to the roof. I thought that was simple, elegant, inexpensive, and clever all in one.
oOoOO, that desk is super neat!!
You could even in-set some strong magnets under that little piece of wood/slot in the desk (trim and shim a little slice on top of the magnets) add aligning magnets in the Flippy edge-- won't have to worry about removing or losing that little wood bit there!

Right!!! We came to pick up our van and couldn’t believe what Will thought of. Of all the upgrades, that took them the longest to come up with the idea and create. So worth it though!
It's coming together guys. Beautiful van inside already and the additions are stellar. Lay around all you want Ana, you'll get plenty of work in I'm sure. To get to scenic areas you two are always up before regular tourists. Stay safe. Love you. ❤🙏

Downside of Starlink Roam is you have to place the vehicle directly where it will connect versus the flexibility of moving the satelite dish where you want at the inconvenience of having to have it stored somewhere
We thought this was gonna be a bigger issue but the starlink does work under some trees. We've only had a little hiccup so far and all we had to do was move the van up a couple feet. Totally understand why people get the dish though
I'm sure there will be improvements overtime.

We've been following your recent journey with the van on IG, and are looking forward to seeing Portugal 🤩 as we will head that way later this year, but sill planning many things! Totally understand the back pain from being on the computer too long, I work full time from home, and now editing as well has just added on more sitting, need to come up with something like that 😆🤪
Omg already Portugal has it all. Beauty for an affordable price! We are at a campsite 1 minute walk to the beach and it's 8 euro/night with showers, bathrooms, everything. This in the U.S. would be $160/night minimum unless you wild camp. So excited to share everything with you!

@@ian.and.ana. wow that is very affordable!! Let us know what those campsite bathrooms and showers are like? Some showers in Scotland were those push ones that only last like 10 seconds and it was super annoying to keep pressing it so often lol 😂

Great video! Curious if there are any more budget friendly van life internet options other than starlink? My husband and I will be starting our van life journey in a couple weeks! I have a full time job and need reliable internet. But starlink is a BIT steep right now… and not super available on the east coast of the US. Any suggestions?
Totally understand because starlink is EXPENSIVE! Hopefully they bring down prices soon enough. Someone has messaged us about Solis Hotspots. Also I bet if you look up "Van Life wifi" you should be able to see what others are using for cheap
