Ok I don’t know if this will help as it is just one guys opinion, but I personally don’t really mind acne it’s just how it is sometimes and I have had it in the past and sometimes do now. Also the about girls being thick that is different from guy to guy I personally like butts, but your butt doesn’t have to be massive it just has to look like you try. That however is different for every guy some of my male friends don’t really care about butt they focus on different things like thighs, breasts, faces, but overall just looking generally healthy whatever size you are is the best thing. That is also just about the body personality is really the most important part if you are nice, laugh, can make me laugh, and generally are nice to people that is what really makes a guy like a girl. Also a little thing about the acne because I don’t think most guys on RUclips I have seen are honest about this they say all natural or nothing, natural looks good, wearing makeup looks good as long as it not insane amounts, either way we probably won’t notice that much. Hopefully that can help this is just my opinion and knowledge I don’t speak for every guy.

Getting plastic surgery instead of working out isn't laziness, there are some people that have problems with their thyroid or metabolism hindering weight loss and obtaining the ridiculous expectations as to what bodies should look like. Different people have different 'healthy weights' some people work out and eat really healthily and still aren't able to look as 'thin' as someone else, everyone's body is different in regards to both appearance and inner function. So to say that someone getting plastic surgery instead of going to the gym to 'fix something' is laziness is wrong on so many levels because sometimes doing that doesn't work for people, hence why they get plastic surgery. And a lot of the time the desire to get plastic surgery stems from insecurities but those insecurities are made worse and sometimes triggered by societal standards and I feel like that should have been addressed in the video...

Most girls feel scared when going to the bathroom because if you leave the group by yourself they could talk badly about you or they are in a situation in which they don’t feel comfortable by themselves other times it’s just to talk
Justin Simmons I started being sexualised aged 12 (I developed early). I was told that I needed to dress a certain way so I wouldn’t attract unwanted attention. I was told this aged 12. Society teaches girls from a young age that they must dress and act a certain way to both attract and and not attract guys. Take school for example. If a girl is showing a shoulder, we get told to cover up because it distracts the boys from learning. We get told to be thin by society then get told that if they’re too thin then they look “anorexic” (which you can’t do anyway. You can’t look like a mental disorder). If we wear makeup we try hard if we don’t we’re slobs. If we sleep around we’re sluts if we don’t we’re frigid. Society puts so much pressure on girls to look and act a certain way. Guys get this as well with things like toxic masculinity. Girls are just expected to look a certain way because for a long time women were supposed to be seen and not heard. We were judged on our beauty over everything else. That societal pressure is still there and will probably continue to be there for ages

I don't agree that this will be going on for ages however, as the generations progress we've actually become much more accepting as a people than we were in the past, so there's no need to bring up how things used to be. Millenials are parents now... I think blaming society is hardly an excuse anymore. We are society, we can make the change. Theres definitely still lots of work to be done on TV the internet and in the school system to help young people, mainly young girls, feel more confident in their own bodies, that's for sure. REAL quick pause to answer "why do women prefer men who treat them like trash"? 1- They DONT, ever. Who wakes up and says "oh i'd just love to be beat and kicked all over & trapped in a corner yeah definitely my idea of a *man*" ...like no. okay, as someone who's BEEN through DV (domestic Violence) and been with someone who treated me VERY badly (8 yr relationship) please understand- This person who is like this WASN'T that person day 1. He was all i knew and also being all i had known how could i ever know BETTER EVER existed up until that point do you feel me . It was "love" to me and to me, love was worth fighting for. he wasn't a monster until year 4-5ish or so? and even then it was little insignificant things that were just-off. and I would tend to i mean yeah stand up for myself in a conversation but never to a huge big deal extent. I would brush off 99% of it, because I TRULY loved him...which honestly is crazy because I never truly knew or experienced the love I gave but yet i had it inside of me. It's just how God had made me. when the years passed i started to loose a LOT of respect for him and for the person who he was becoming. He ANNIHILATED (listen up ladies) he "took me away" from any and every person i was close to by making him seem like he was ALL i needed. And i believed him. Now i never said no bc i didn't want to 1-hurt him and 2- make him mad. So it was not ever truly not consensual but in my mental- it felt wrong, you know? So at that point I knew that if i didnt see SOME type pf change in that relationship and not just in him but our lives together- idk...i just needed to fill a void. SO...AS STUPID as i was ...I got pregnant by him ...ya...trust me...i hear the OMG..WTF...WHYY's already and through the screens but it already so complicated and so deep into it all...i figured if i could just have a love- a TRUE love that loved me too unconditionally- I could be okay. MAybe it doesn't make sense to the next person but me having gone through all i had and having no one....a baby...just...sounded like just what i needed & deserved. a somebody. with nothing but pure innocence and love baring no hatred or pain...anyway fast forward obviously I had a baby year6 and found the love of my life. MY son.. and my then fiance, (he asked me to marry him but- thankfully that never took place. That was a blessing alone trust me. anyway, so I had a perfect beautiful amazing little boy who just was and still is today and always will be, my everything. The relationship only got worse after that though and he started testing his limits and abilities to push and hurt me, and boyyyy lmty - he definitely found them. I ended up in a motel room in a corner beat and kicked and punched...for saying "I don't want to have sex" and being on my phone......He was so upset he beat me for it. Thankfully a friend i was speaking to on the phone called the police and he was arrested(but only later to convince me to not come to court to press charges bc he didn't belong in jail and put it thick on me about the things he was hearing and seeing) he also fucked with me by calling him mom's phone soi was guilt tripped and begged by them both and all i wanted to do was make them happy and move on. It only stopped him for a short while, then one day when it was JUST him & I in a car, he was driving, and i was in the passenger seat, and he was calling me names, and i just snapped. I said "you have ONE more time to call me out of my name- I DO NOT deserve the way you talk to me, treat me and I am the mother of YOUR ONLY son, how dare you continue to treat me like this" ...that was followed by one word. That's when i snapped. It wasn't but a reflex from built up frustration, anger, just every emotional pain- and i slapped him in his mouth. (whiiich i kinda still think he deserved) but not while he was driving i guess...(pls know no kids were present) He then...Took his right hand off of the steering while and full grown man force PUNCHED the back of my head SO hard i INSTANTLY obtained a golf ball sized knot on my head at the base, i thought i would die from the injury. LITERALLY i screamed out "you just killed me. " I thought that was my last day and moment on earth. Just thinking about it right now....gives me anxiety. Anyway...ALL of that isn't but just an IDEA of what i ALLOWED myself to go through, and was it for any good reason of *preference* to this? Come on now. HELL NO! I became a rug and i hated every single second of it. But finally one day - one damn day I finally stood up when costed me almost my life and everything i loved. I told him he could KEEP the apartment (that i worked and paid for while he never did a thing but scrap before here and there) I told him (i remember word for word)...."You can have this entire apartment and everything in it I am done, I am leaving you and I am leaving here because you have done nothing but treat me horribly when i deserved nothing like that, you never appreciated me for even a day, you put your hands on me, i asked you to stop being the way you've been and nothing will stop you, I've asked you to AT LEAST not yell and and cuss at me in front of the baby and you dont care...So im done. I have put 8 years in and you put nothing but pain and hurt. " I packed a bagful of things and left. but not before i said "you know, ONE DAY someone's gonna love me the way i deserve, and even though i've never seen what i deserve i know in my heart and soul I will and you'll be sitting here miserable with nobody when you had everything you could ever want in life. Someone by your side who loved you, worked hard no matter what, A DAMN good mother, and a ride or die- all i asked was you treat me right..but i guess that wasn't enough, I WASN'T ENOUGH for you- and that's okay with me because not everyone is meant to be together and if i'm not good enough then someone else is, i can walk away knowing i gave EVERYTHING i had to give down to damn near my soul and life. and that-is more than enough for me." i con't to say : "Oh, and btw i hope you finally get a job and keep a job for the 1st time in your life, because you now have bills to pay" (he was 7 yrs older than I was so pft don't know why the dude never worked or at least tried but anyway) His response told me and justified for me- i was making the right move BUT ALSO....and honestly....scarred me emotionally, mentally. His last words before i walked out were and i quote... "You'll never find someone to love you. Look at you. Have you ever seen yourself naked?! you're ugly. What you want isn't real and you're an idiot. You'll never find someone like me. YOU'LL NEVER FIND SOMEONE WHO WILL LOVE YOU!" ....that hurt. and it stung. Getting surgery I feel like it is connecting with the obsession of good looking that girls have. That came from the stereotypes that girl must be good looking because her appearance physically and biologically is like the definition of beauty. So maybe also through social media these stereotypes got a lot bigger and every girl out there starts to actually think that they're not good enough and they literally grow with this idea when finally comes the time that they actually do change themselves in that specific way. Actually for the whole girls bring a friend with you to the bathroom. There was a higher frequency of women being assaulted when going to the bathroom or even in the bathroom (sometimes men would hide in there and lock the door and abuse women in their own bathroom), which is why it became a trend for women to bring a friend for safety. As time progressed it became a social norm for most women.

Ok I don’t know if this will help as it is just one guys opinion, but I personally don’t really mind acne it’s just how it is sometimes and I have had it in the past and sometimes do now. Also the about girls being thick that is different from guy to guy I personally like butts, but your butt doesn’t have to be massive it just has to look like you try. That however is different for every guy some of my male friends don’t really care about butt they focus on different things like thighs, breasts, faces, but overall just looking generally healthy whatever size you are is the best thing. That is also just about the body personality is really the most important part if you are nice, laugh, can make me laugh, and generally are nice to people that is what really makes a guy like a girl. Also a little thing about the acne because I don’t think most guys on RUclips I have seen are honest about this they say all natural or nothing, natural looks good, wearing makeup looks good as long as it not insane amounts, either way we probably won’t notice that much. Hopefully that can help this is just my opinion and knowledge I don’t speak for every guy.

I think that that's only SOME girls. I know so many women who've had plastic surgery just because they didn't like something about themselves and it made them more confident. Getting plastic surgery instead of working out isn't laziness, there are some people that have problems with their thyroid or metabolism hindering weight loss and obtaining the ridiculous expectations as to what bodies should look like. Different people have different 'healthy weights' some people work out and eat really healthily and still aren't able to look as 'thin' as someone else, everyone's body is different in regards to both appearance and inner function. So to say that someone getting plastic surgery instead of going to the gym to 'fix something' is laziness is wrong on so many levels because sometimes doing that doesn't work for people, hence why they get plastic surgery. And a lot of the time the desire to get plastic surgery stems from insecurities but those insecurities are made worse and sometimes triggered by societal standards and I feel like that should have been addressed in the video...

Justin Simmons I started being sexualised aged 12 (I developed early). I was told that I needed to dress a certain way so I wouldn’t attract unwanted attention. I was told this aged 12. Society teaches girls from a young age that they must dress and act a certain way to both attract and and not attract guys. Take school for example. If a girl is showing a shoulder, we get told to cover up because it distracts the boys from learning. We get told to be thin by society then get told that if they’re too thin then they look “anorexic” (which you can’t do anyway. You can’t look like a mental disorder). If we wear makeup we try hard if we don’t we’re slobs. If we sleep around we’re sluts if we don’t we’re frigid. Society puts so much pressure on girls to look and act a certain way. Guys get this as well with things like toxic masculinity. Girls are just expected to look a certain way because for a long time women were supposed to be seen and not heard. We were judged on our beauty over everything else. That societal pressure is still there and will probably continue to be there for ages

I don't agree that this will be going on for ages however, as the generations progress we've actually become much more accepting as a people than we were in the past, so there's no need to bring up how things used to be. Millenials are parents now... I think blaming society is hardly an excuse anymore. We are society, we can make the change. Theres definitely still lots of work to be done on TV the internet and in the school system to help young people, mainly young girls, feel more confident in their own bodies, that's for sure. But it stands to reason that once you're old enough to think for yourself, I'm not sure if you can blame other people for how you choose to display yourself anymore(barring some mental illness of course). I think it's safe to say that if you're _conscious_ of the fact that society wants you to look and act a certain way you're definitely competent enough to say "nah, I'll just do my own thing" which we see more and more often now in both men and women. Giving in to the pressures you face from other women/men and in turn blaming "society" is never going to change anything for ourselves or our children. Insecurities suck. I think it's up to us to decide the future instead of continuing to blame the past, placing fault on corporations and those older than us. I'm seeing more and more positivity everywhere I go nowadays and I love it. Society blaming gives us a shield to continue to harbour our insecurities and we've gotta cut that out, if anything just for the sake of the younger generation. I'm not saying I disagree with you at all, I'm just giving you a more proactive outlook.

It was "love" to me and to me, love was worth fighting for. he wasn't a monster until year 4-5ish or so? and even then it was little insignificant things that were just-off. and I would tend to i mean yeah stand up for myself in a conversation but never to a huge big deal extent. I would brush off 99% of it, because I TRULY loved him...which honestly is crazy because I never truly knew or experienced the love I gave but yet i had it inside of me. It's just how God had made me. when the years passed i started to loose a LOT of respect for him and for the person who he was becoming. He ANNIHILATED (listen up ladies) he "took me away" from any and every person i was close to by making him seem like he was ALL i needed. And i believed him. I went with him and cut everyone else off. - SUCH a horrible mistake. It left me alone and it left me an easy target with no one to run to. VERY VERRRY dangerous. PLEASE don't EVER let ANYONE steal your independent shine, ever. IDC how much you love another person. Not everyone is a bad person i know now but you just never know until you do and i NEVER want another woman or man to ever be placed into this unhealthy and damaging situation in life. . Backing up just slightly to year almost 5- like i said i was highly loosing all respect and attraction to this person as to the way he just took full advantage of me and the person i was never knowing anything else, and anyone who's been truly through this can and will vouch that (and not just DV but a bad relationship too) once you loose any type of relationship attraction to someone mentally- all else DOES follow. ESPECIALLY when it comes to a woman, as we are VERY emotional based beings. Once i started to loose that i started to not even find him attractive anymore and when one night we were alone and doing adult things- and i cried in the quiet as he did...i knew..it was over. This man who i once loved didn't even treat me like a human anymore and once consensual sex started to feel ...not so consensual...i was so empty within any and all parts of that relationship at that point. Now i never said no bc i didn't want to 1-hurt him and 2- make him mad. So it was not ever truly not consensual but in my mental- it felt wrong, you know? So at that point I knew that if i didnt see SOME type pf change in that relationship and not just in him but our lives together- idk...i just needed to fill a void. SO...AS STUPID as i was ...I got pregnant by him ...ya...trust me...i hear the OMG..WTF...WHYY's already and through the screens but it already so complicated and so deep into it all...i figured if i could just have a love- a TRUE love that loved me too unconditionally- I could be okay. MAybe it doesn't make sense to the next person but me having gone through all i had and having no one....a baby...just...sounded like just what i needed & deserved. a somebody. with nothing but pure innocence and love baring no hatred or pain...anyway fast forward obviously I had a baby year6 and found the love of my life. MY son.. and my then fiance, (he asked me to marry him but- thankfully that never took place. That was a blessing alone trust me. anyway, so I had a perfect beautiful amazing little boy who just was and still is today and always will be, my everything. The relationship only got worse after that though and he started testing his limits and abilities to push and hurt me, and boyyyy lmty - he definitely found them. I ended up in a motel room in a corner beat and kicked and punched...for saying "I don't want to have sex" and being on my phone......He was so upset he beat me for it. Thankfully a friend i was speaking to on the phone called the police and he was arrested(but only later to convince me to not come to court to press charges bc he didn't belong in jail and put it thick on me about the things he was hearing and seeing) he also fucked with me by calling him mom's phone soi was guilt tripped and begged by them both and all i wanted to do was make them happy and move on. It only stopped him for a short while, then one day when it was JUST him & I in a car, he was driving, and i was in the passenger seat, and he was calling me names, and i just snapped. I said "you have ONE more time to call me out of my name- I DO NOT deserve the way you talk to me, treat me and I am the mother of YOUR ONLY son, how dare you continue to treat me like this" ...that was followed by one word. That's when i snapped. It wasn't but a reflex from built up frustration, anger, just every emotional pain- and i slapped him in his mouth. (whiiich i kinda still think he deserved) but not while he was driving i guess...(pls know no kids were present) He then...Took his right hand off of the steering while and full grown man force PUNCHED the back of my head SO hard i INSTANTLY obtained a golf ball sized knot on my head at the base, i thought i would die from the injury. LITERALLY i screamed out "you just killed me. " I thought that was my last day and moment on earth. Just thinking about it right now....gives me anxiety. Anyway...ALL of that isn't but just an IDEA of what i ALLOWED myself to go through, and was it for any good reason of *preference* to this? Come on now. HELL NO! I became a rug and i hated every single second of it. But finally one day - one damn day I finally stood up when costed me almost my life and everything i loved. I told him he could KEEP the apartment (that i worked and paid for while he never did a thing but scrap before here and there) I told him (i remember word for word)...."You can have this entire apartment and everything in it I am done, I am leaving you and I am leaving here because you have done nothing but treat me horribly when i deserved nothing like that, you never appreciated me for even a day, you put your hands on me, i asked you to stop being the way you've been and nothing will stop you, I've asked you to AT LEAST not yell and and cuss at me in front of the baby and you dont care...So im done. I have put 8 years in and you put nothing but pain and hurt. " I packed a bagful of things and left. but not before i said "you know, ONE DAY someone's gonna love me the way i deserve, and even though i've never seen what i deserve i know in my heart and soul I will and you'll be sitting here miserable with nobody when you had everything you could ever want in life. Someone by your side who loved you, worked hard no matter what, A DAMN good mother, and a ride or die- all i asked was you treat me right..but i guess that wasn't enough, I WASN'T ENOUGH for you- and that's okay with me because not everyone is meant to be together and if i'm not good enough then someone else is, i can walk away knowing i gave EVERYTHING i had to give down to damn near my soul and life. and that-is more than enough for me."
i con't to say : "Oh, and btw i hope you finally get a job and keep a job for the 1st time in your life, because you now have bills to pay" (he was 7 yrs older than I was so pft don't know why the dude never worked or at least tried but anyway) His response told me and justified for me- i was making the right move BUT ALSO....and honestly....scarred me emotionally, mentally.
His last words before i walked out were and i quote...
"You'll never find someone to love you. Look at you. Have you ever seen yourself naked?! you're ugly. What you want isn't real and you're an idiot. You'll never find someone like me. YOU'LL NEVER FIND SOMEONE WHO WILL LOVE YOU!"

Getting surgery I feel like it is connecting with the obsession of good looking that girls have. That came from the stereotypes that girl must be good looking because her appearance physically and biologically is like the definition of beauty. So maybe also through social media these stereotypes got a lot bigger and every girl out there starts to actually think that they're not good enough and they literally grow with this idea when finally comes the time that they actually do change themselves in that specific way. So the conclusion is that clearly is our fault for letting all those negative thoughts control our minds and make us believe we actually aren't perfect..
