Maisto 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Review (Scale 1/18)

The Firebird was an iconic muscle car that was produced between 1967 and 2002. The second generation Firebird, which was sold between 1970 and 1981, saw the introduction of the Firebird Trans Am, which had a host of performance and visual enhancements over the regular Firebird. What an amazing model, Nick! And only 17 dollars - great find!
This is my favorit paint scheme of the Firebird Trans Am - black with the golden highlights and the firebird on the hood ... like the one from Smokey and the Bandit.
The facelift of the car from 1980 wasn't looking as cool as this one. So for a long time I was believing that this here was the facelift because it was looking better, hehe.

Hello Nick, will you plz do a DC Metrobus toy by Daron? I love the Pontiac Firebird by Maesto & even though it's a budget model yes it doesn't live up to the level as a high end model I still like it. Plz reply

Received mine today, only real complaint is the metallic black paint, all s.e came in gloss black, metallic wasnt an option, great casting though.

I love this new casting. I unfortunately had to make my yearly return of most of my Maisto models this year. But I refused to return this. I also kept the Ford F150 Ranger. I hope to purcahse some of the others that I returned soon. Thank you again Nick for your excellent reviews. 😊
