Very nice!!! And a great price. I have the normal version for maisto in 1/18 scale new in box that I got from an antique shop for 6 bucks. Wish it was the ml 55 amg, but none the less a 6 dollar 1/18 model, can't complain to much about that. It does have a bit of orange peel, which is common on some of the 90s models from them but still a nice casting. Need to check to see if their are any train shows around me, or diecast events in general. You can find some great deals like this one!!! Great video!!!

I’m not a car guy at all, but this model takes me back and might be the reason why unlike any other car brands, Ferrari is pretty much the only one that gives me the tingles. I distinctly remember having a Ferrari Testarossa model as a kid in the late 80’s-early 90’s that I loved. Sadly I ‘lost’ it after a family visit in Poland (I suspect some fowl play though). The only thing I remember about it vividly is there was a switch at the bottom that let you open up the headlights. I assume it had opening doors and engine cover as well but can’t remember. Don’t even remember if it was a Bburago model or some other brand but I’m pretty sure it was. The only thing that messes with me is I remember it being a small car, like 1:43 scale but I don’t think those had opening headlights. Might have been a 1:24 but in my mind it wasn’t as big. Certainly not 1:18. Does anyone know which was the the smallest scale with opening headlights?

The reason why Wilco trucks are exactly the same as Hess trucks are because Wilco was a business partner with Hess - they got their fuel supplied through Hess, as they were too small to have an independent refinery. Hess gave them permission to re-use the previous year's Hess truck design, and I believe they were made in the same factory too. Believe it or not - Wilco was not the only company to do this - there was ANOTHER gas company called Servco that was also a business partner with Hess, for the same reasons as Wilco, and they too sold copies of the Hess trucks a year after Hess did - only they are white with RED accents, instead of turquoise (more like blue) or green. I have started collecting those myself. I would recommend checking out Railfans Of Northeast Georga's Toy Truck Parade videos - he has a bunch of Servco and Wilco trucks in them.
