  • Say Goodbye to the United States Marine Corps F/A-18 Hornet
According to a Marine Corps statement in the United States, the f/a18 Hornet completed its final aircraft carrier deployment, marking the end of Hornet operations carried out from Marine Corps carriers. The multirole fighter Hornet, who first saw service with the Marine Corps in the mid-1980s, excels in a variety of different operations, including air reconnaissance, air interdiction, carrier defense, air superiority, and suppression of adversary air defense. Midway through the 1980s, the Marine Corps and the f/a-18 Hornet conducted combat operations against Libyan targets, as well as during the Gulf Wars and the Iraq War.
