Honda XL185s Restoration

I got 1979 xl 185 that got no Quit !! Put new shocks on rear & Carb 7yrs Ago ...switch handle bars two yrs ago ..Bike can sit for months and had for years before... throw gas in , Air up tires , kick it and Go !...Always puts a big smile on my Face ..best $600 spent back in 1999..

Well done, mate!I am just restoring a 1981 XL185S. The bike hasn't been on the road for ages. I owned two XLs in the late eighties, so this feels like a time machine. I was lucky enough to get two additional bikes without an engine, so I can choose the best parts from three different bikes. If everything goes fine, the bike will be back on the road within the next week.Greetings to Greece (I have been to Athens and Thessaloniki),Michael from Germany

Wish the Chinese would make the XL range of Honda bikes, I've had two 100 & 185 and a TL125, great bikes, simple, easy to maintain and service,
