STEM Summer Fun: Carmel Parks Kids Visit 1st Maker Space

Join us on a fun-filled journey at 1st Maker Space! This week, we had the pleasure of hosting 140 bright minds from the Carmel Indiana Parks Department's Summer Camp Series at our offices in the Indiana IoT lab.
From a comprehensive lab tour to hands-on STEM projects, the kids had a blast exploring and learning. They got to work with Keva Planks, MakeDo Cardboard Construction Tools, and Blocks Rock! Each station was a new adventure, sparking creativity and innovation.
They also assembled a sail car from TeacherGeek and a Solar Bug from Brown Dog Gadgets, learning about renewable energy and engineering.
