calculate the cost of fans then repost if the case is cheap or not, considering its al plastic with only 3 pieces of aluminium that cost 50 cent a kilo, you can safely find cases with this kind of specs on alibaba for 50 or less, as these are all vintage concept cases
I've had my eye on this since CES as part of the next evolution of my current build in their Evolv X, which is a great case, but I want a little more room for a bit more customization for my custom loop. I'm really interested to see what other people can come up with in this case for inspiration. I'm gonna need more water cooling stuff and fans now lol.
The fan headers aren't really a problem because most people use splitters for their radiator fans. Nobody wants to set 3 different fan profiles for a 360 rad.
amazing review, these clearance numbers were exactly what I needed. I'll be swapping to this case from a DG-86, and somehow the 719/luxe2 is smaller than the dg-86 but can fit more stuff, and has better connectivity.

Also, how much room is there between the back of the side fan/rad mount and the back side panel? Trying to plan a quad rad build in this beauty, and you gave some great measurements, just need a few more.
I have EK 360 SE rad between the front panel and the chassis and fans inside the case. Had dremel the front panel a bit to make it fit, but there is good bit of clearance for air flow. Can't fit 480mm rad or 3 fans in there, because the front panel connectors are on the way...

Phanteks proving YET AGAIN they are the absolute best mainstream case manufacturer in the world. I guess its worth mentioning and putting an asterisk *now that Caselabs has shut down. Still, this case is incredible. I've been holding out on getting anything new to replace my Enthoo Pro TG Special Edition but this might be the one.
I got this case early 2020. It's absolutely amazing. At one point, I had 8 drives in it along with 2 ssd's. Unfortunately, shortly after I got the case, my PSU decided to abort itself and took all the case RGB with it, along with the motherboard. Slapped a new PSU and upgraded to an X570 board, but the case RGB is still dead
Great Video, thanks! The radiator support section is especially awesome and helpful. I wonder however how you managed to fit the EK 360 XE in the top. I just bought the case and cannot fit the 360 PE because due to the width of it the Top cover will not fit anymore because the side panels of the rad are blocking parts of the openings for the hooks of the top panels. Since the XE is also 130mm i wonder how you've done it.
how many ssd you want?? phanteks: *yes* phanteks always has crazy case with good price, their quality is best too, even fans is almost good enough with premium fans
@@zetash7372 Phanteks references "dual 480" twice on their marketing pages so it must be possible, but It might require a very specific config. If its not possible at all, then they open themselves up to a lot of hate from the community, and the ever looming chance of a false advertising lawsuit.
@@zetash7372 I'd add you also have the option of running slim fans (15mm), though I have no idea how good the acoustics and thermals would be in that scenario.
Sorry for not covering this but yes up to 30mm can fit on the side rad area in the rear of the case so then fans would be on the main side. I guess the only thing to be careful of are the rad ports coming out in to the main section may fail on the front radiator.
I'm a little behind the times, building in a 719 now, still an amazing case! Running ek 360se rads top and bottom, and a 480se up front with a couple of the 240mm ek quantum kinetic pump/res combos in the side slot
Would like to duplicate the water cooling loop I have pointed many people here.... looking forward to more videos,.... Just bought the case looking forward to it The video is the reason why i bought the case good job
Thank you for the excellent review and impressive build. Can you offer any insight into cabeling with the E-ATX borad? I see that the larger E-ATX board nearly encroaches on the case cabeling grommets.
What if you want to put the radiator in the back compartment? Is there enough room for a 30 mm radiator? That way you could have 480 in the front as intake, 480 in the side as exhaust, 360 in the bottom as intake, 360 in the top as exhaust, 120 in the rear. Total of 1,800 or 15x 120 mm.
This fits 3 SSDs + (4 SSDs or 8 HDD/SSD) + 4 HDD/SSD. In other words up to 12 drives and 3 SSDs. If you buy enough mounts, you can actually probably fit more than 4 stacked next to the PSU shroud. Maybe 1 or 2 more depending on what's on top of your mobo.
That flex, needs 4 people to get it off the desk. Aside from that those tubes are immaculate. Do you plan your builds out if so do you use some sort of CAD software?
when i have a little bit more money i want to build my own pc aswel in the antec torque case, what would you suggest for watercooling (i've never done a pc build before and neither have i done watercooling) but should i do hard tubing because it looks better but its more difficult to do, or go with soft tubing and just simply use that
I've never built a water-cooled system but if unsure what parts you need look towards corsairs HYDRO X line. On their website they have a configurator to help you find everything you need. Soft tubing is a cheaper option as you won't need to buy a heat gun, rubber bending inserts etc....
You can get the double 480 rads in the side panel and front but its a TIGHT fit and really takes some hard work to get it all in just perfectly where it will run if you use a slimmer rad like the SE from EK I have it in mine but it will be a absolute nightmare to take apart if you have to. *edit: Also may take some weird mounting of the top rad too.

I have a quick question: If a 480mm radiator is installed in the front location of the case, is there still room for the 3.5 inch HDD bays? Thanks and love this channel!
Is it completely out of the question or just really tight? For example xspc tx series (20mm radiator) + slim (15mm) fan? Also can you use side fans while having hdd cages installed?

Just trying to figure out clearance. I'm planning on putting an ek se 480 on the rear of the side panel, and a push pull configuration with fans inside the case pulling air in, and on the other side of the rad in the rear chamber also pulling air in? Is it possible?

Maybe it's just me, but does the RGB transitioning to other colors seem a little stuttery? Could also just be one of those weird shutter problems with the PWM of the LED's and the camera not matching up, but I figured I'd ask. Sort of torn between this case now and the Meshify S2.

holy hell you cant beat this for the price
Sorry I am a bit unclear, but can you please kindly advise if you can fit a 360 rad on top, a 480 rad on side upside down as you said and a 360 at the bottom all at the same time ?
Wow being a Owner of both the Phantek Enthoo Primo SE & at present I own the Phantek Luxe TG this is a warm welcome, I've been looking for a replacement and was thinking about buying the corsair 680X or the new 500D TG, But now I see this beast and I know what i must do, Say no to Corsair and stick with Phantek. I got the money now and its staying where it is till I see this badboy in the shops.
I’m still waiting for this to drop
But can you fit a 28-30mm rad in the back side end AND a 25mm fan? Is there enough clearance for that?
Just trying to figure out clearance. I'm planning on putting an ek se 480 on the rear of the side panel, and a push pull configuration with fans inside the case pulling air in, and on the other side of the rad in the rear chamber also pulling air in? Is it possible?
@@jasonwashburn7732 I have EK PE 480 rad on the side with push/pull fans. The rad is inside the case. Don't think there is not enough room on the side chamber to fit rad and fans even if the rad is SE...
Maybe it's just me, but does the RGB transitioning to other colors seem a little stuttery? Could also just be one of those weird shutter problems with the PWM of the LED's and the camera not matching up, but I figured I'd ask. Sort of torn between this case now and the Meshify S2.
Great design
You were able to fit the EK XE 360 rad up top with no Mobo clearance issues?
Yes that's possible just RAM up to 55mm... any thickness works (CPU fittings must be tailored to that)
So which rads did you use for measuring the clearance...what are the lengths of them.
