The town is surrounded by water all round, formed a town because of the water, 60% of the building remain the architectural style of Ming & Qing dynasty.

yes, the open time is 7:30-21:00, it costs RMB100(USD13.9) for one ticket to visit the town, please do notice to visit the specific spot as this video mentioned like Zhang's Residence (张厅)& Sheng's Residence(沈厅) etc rather than hang out in the town w/o destination. You can just go there and buy the ticket before the gate entrance.
