Chuck and Shaq were so wrong, kyrie and Luka do not have to have 30+ each. Luka had 29 and Kyrie had 9 points and they still won.
Dort is something else. Love his game, he is an important part of OKC.
At the beginning of the year I was thinking OKC were priming Cason Wallace to be Dort’s replacement, but he’s played within the system much better this season and it’s unlocked his full potential

I think it’s interesting how many people don’t give young teams credit for just being good. Even these guys on the show don’t know that much about OKC. Nobody UNDERSTANDS this team, except for the die-hard fans. You don’t get their true potential from just covering them in the playoffs. They are deep, talented and unafraid. Doesn’t mean they’re going to the finals but it does mean people are underestimating their ability to win big games.

Not very long for Mike Conley. But the Timberwolves do have Ant, McDaniel's, Alexander-Walker (SGA's cousin), and Naz Reid.
So at least that very strong core will be playing OKC in big playoff matchups for years to come. Who knows how long Gobert and KAT stay in their prime. KAT is only 28 if I remember correctly, so it isn't like he is ancient or anything.

Well watching just the highlights, it was still close at 8 minutes left in 4th. And then it jumps to 5 minute mark, and it is turning into a blowout. OKC is looking strong. Not a Mavs fan, so go OKC.

Luka could have 40+ for the rest of the series but he's going to work for it. You can't stop great players. Yet you can make them work for it. OKC makes you work for it. I've said it before healthy OKC is going to be a tough out. Fast hands and the roster is deep, and everyone can shoot. Giggly is the only guy really you could say make him beat you. He didn't tonight but he usually makes enough to ruin that.
OKC is the better team...but the best player on the court is in a Mavs jersey.

Go back a bit further though and the Golden State Warriors are the #1 seed for half the decade. they can’t adjust the same way they to the clippers which is speeding them up, okc is already faster than the mavs that’ll only end badly for them, the thunder is way more athletic and versatile than the mavs but if luka was healthy maybe he could willl them but with him being hobbled jalen williams is going to COOK luka on both ends

The Mavericks played well for most of the game. I still think they can win this series. Luka isn't going to score 19 points often.
And OKC isn’t shooting 38% in a half. People seem to think this was OKC’s best version. They barely played their brand of ball into mid 3rd qtr. Thunder start clicking it will look like Game 2, Game 3 vs Pels. OKC has been Top 5 Offense/Defense for a reason with a 10+ man depth.

Game 1 winner continues on to win the series 77.3% of the time overall. Although in round 2 that number is a tad lower @ 74.8%.
