What a gem of a video to come across while there are new wildfires going on in Turkey, Greece, Sicily nowadays. I've learned much more than watching the coverage of news channels. Danke sehr DW Planet A.

This is a great video, very informative! I live near Denver and we had the worst air quality of all major cities in the world due to air pollution caused by fires in California. Last year, we had the two largest fires in Colorado’s history. It will take a lot of effort, but we must manage the land properly and halt climate change as much as possible to prevent conditions from getting worse.

Most indigenous communities believed that burned vegetation would make the soil more fertile. It has nothing to do with the forest fire control.

I've thought about moving because of the wild fires. I live about 20 miles from the main gate of Yosemite. We got evacuated for about a week and a half last year due to the Creek Fire.

New information: Indigenous communities fighting fire with fire through controlled burns to prevent even bigger fires during the hot dry season.
Fear is what sells SUV's and many other carbon intensive things. It's also what got us here too and we need to change the messaging and branding of our reality to survive our future for thousands more years to come.
I've been binging on this channel and I'm loving every minute of it. Great information and environmental journalism. Keep up the good work!

The skies have changed. The Inuits said the skies were the same for 5000 years. Now they have completely changed. This was established at least five years ago. The planet is no longer position the same way it was for a long time. Whether it's the wobble or we are off our axis.
