Indians more than anyone understand what the Israelis are going through because in 1948 they also suffered so much from Islamic bloodshed when both peoples work freed from the English yet they made a land transfer and put all the Muslims from large places into Pakistan while the Jews tried to be more moral and left hundreds of thousands of Muslims to become Israeli citizens and have tried continually to make peace with their Muslim neighbours and I would say from looking at the recent history of the last 50 years of the world can agree making peace with the Muslims is not an easy task

Thank you. This is the clearest exposition of this truth yet. It would be helpful to have a talk on how this translates into practical steps (beyond knowing it) for the ordinary householder whose circumstances present a less pleasant dream to Brahman. Does yog have any value for them? If the knowledge itself is the medium of the yog then what step is needed to implement it (equivalent to the dreamer detachedly defending themself against the tiger in their dream even though the tiger is not something apart from them and even though it doesn’t ultimately matter)?
The Brahman, the spiritual substratum that permeates all existence, represents only a fraction of His potency. The Supreme Lord Krishna is the one to be inquired about.
I think the people in South Africa could have given the Swami a break. We all speak English a little bit differently - even from one end of England to the other, never mind the rest of the UK and our cousins in the far ends of the globe. And he was strictly correct in his usage. Expire means to breathe out, or out breath. Medication doesn't breathe. People do - and stop. So, the Swami's friend had expired. God rest him. Many thanks Swamiji. I always remember the stories best.

"Episteme" means superimposition, to place over. We superimpose theories and beliefs to "what is". Knowledge is always incomplete. Science, which is obviously necessary, has to do with measurement. "What is", which includes us, is immeasurable. In this sense, we need not know "what is", because we are that.
Knowledge is always incomplete. There cannot be a scientific theory which totally explains what a grain of sand is. It's immeasurable. Theories are always replaced by new theories and discoveries. Who am I? Can there be a theory to totally answer that question? I am the immeasurable. Is there a separation between the immeasurable and the immeasurable? Are there two immeasurables? The grain of sand is an appearance of what I am. There is no separation.
Most enlightening discourse on the Nature of Consciousness and Brahman. Swamiji, I am grateful to you for providing this clarity on such a difficult concept which can not be grasped by only reading the texts. My gratitude.
