It's interesting that he stops directly addressing the audience when his powers are off. It's like breaking the 4th wall is one of his mutant powers
nah, in dp1 he does address the audience once as wade wilson
It actually is explicitly canon that it IS one of his powers so this was great attention to detail with this film
He makes a foreshadow joke in their cell later on
@@cb-9938 my theory is that his wallbreaking powers are limited as wade wilson

Imagine how much pain tolerance Wade has now thanks to his powers. Anyone else who gets stabbed in the hand like that would be yelling hysterically, but not good ol Wade. His pain tolerance must be 100 times that of the average person.
Ya think? You're a quick one, eh?
@@suedeB05 No need to be an A$$hole. Relax bro and enjoy life. Cheers! 🍻
he was special forces for 10 years he prob endured way more punishment than a pen to his hand
@@deonm5649 Maybe, maybe not. I don't know how much abuse this fictional character endured during his 10 years of service as special forces. It could be as small as a paper cut or it could of been worse. As deadpool though... Holy cow he just has no regard at all for his body. He happily sawed off his one hand just to get away from colossus... Which he later got all pissed off because "the wrong guy lost a hand" or whatever his line was LOL. So yea the level of pain tolerance he has would be contributed to him as Deadpool.
@@deonm5649 in the first movie to get his powers he was tortured and experimented on. The torture went from inducing mild pain to extreme . Plus the cancer dude is suffering all the time xD even if he has powers.
They way he said white wade wilson without missing a beat gets me everytime.
That’s cause it’s part of the script he knew the line he was going to say before hand😱🤯😱😱😱🤯
He said that so freaking fast. 😄
Amazing alliteration
I fcking love Wade's reaction & gestures when African American Tom Cassidy stabs him in the hand with the pen
AFRICAN AMERICAN TOM CASSIDY GOT IT LMAOOO
He was no match for Caucasian Wade Wilson though

Old news, ruclips.net/video/9hVO6UkCDeQ/видео.html
@@binal-flecki2387 No. Definitely just foreshadowing. Learn words.
was he talking about Juggernaut?
Partial foreshadowing. Yes, Juggernaut is the biggest guy in the prison, so Russell was attacking the wrong guy. (He actually takes Wade’s advice the wrong way later on and befriends Juggernaut)
But Wade was also giving Russell advice. If you become the biggest guy in the prison, you put a target on your back because now everyone wants to be the guy to hand your ass to you. If you go for the second guy, everyone else still wants to go for the first guy and become the new top dog.
“This doesn’t end with us riding into the sunset. It ends with me dying of cancer, and you winning the ice box award for softest mouth.” That is the most fucking ruthless thing I’ve heard in this movie lmao

Well that was a missed opportunity for sure.
You noticed omega Red in the background right

2:04 I find it so odd that Wade’s cancer is killing him again as soon as his healing powers are disabled. You’d think that his healing would get rid of the cancer, especially when he’s regenerated his entire body after being blown up earlier in this film. For some reason, the healing doesn’t seem to get rid of the cancer. It just keeps it from progressing any further. He regenerates exactly how he was when the healing power kicked in.
What if his healing factor considers cancer Wade's normal tissue? Think about Doctor Who episode where a dying kid in a gas mask got affected by healing nanodrones. The drones scanned him, and thought that this is how people should be. What if Wade's regeneration was affecting his cancer too?
@@ZizixxSamurai Perhaps. But it’s still curious why and how his healing power works that way. Wolverine’s healing power (although not as good or strong as THIS version of Deadpool) kept him in perfect health until it started to fail shortly before the time of “Logan” the movie.
@@jordanelza8806 Well, Wade got his powers when he already had cancer, so his ultra regeneration may have considered the cancer cells as something OK, since they were already present when the regeneration factor developed.
I don't think deadpool's healing power works that way. His healing never cures cancer. Rather it negates it's ill effects. Cancer spreads in the body and multiples itself forming new but cancer infected cells. His healing on the other hand keeps the cells fully functional. His healing can do nothing on its own. It needs cancer to be effective. It may be termed as his own negative cancer.
According to Francis, Deadpool’s cells attack his cancer “as fast as it can form”. My guess is this means containing the damage cause by the rampant mitosis without actually undoing it.
Ever notice how this kid is taking grown man punches almost like nothing ?
No powers either lol
We Won’t say taking them, wasn’t a choice nor did he do well with them! Lmao 😂😂😂
it's a movie, these are actors
@@MGrey-qb5xz He is talking about the character.
I dont think the big guy was taking him seriously. Think of it like a pimp slap with knuckles
@@terenceneedham9064 except it's prison knuckles and it's a kid lol
0:48 You can see he is already reaching into his 'Prison Wallet'.
Funniest Damn thing I ever heard 😂😂😂😂😂 didn't really like the movie, but that line had me in tears😅
And heard too, like, there was a subtle squelching sound. Ugh.
I seriously never noticed that, and also explains why later wade goes "and it's slippery too" LOL
“White Wade” makes me chuckle every single time.
It never made sense to me that Deadpool's healing factor is so strong that he can regrow completely out of a POOL OF BLOOD, but it can't cure his skin lol
His healing factor is the reason he looks like that, though. He's essentially a walk-talking tumour in the shape of a man because of it
@@lordzaboem But why would the healing factor work like that? I mean, it would make sense if that was the case, but that sounds... Really weird.
For example, IIRC, Deadpool in my example reconstructed himself from a pool of his blood mixed with Cable's, and when Cable would teleport in the future, Deadpool would be forced to teleport as well... It was something of the sort. So his body had changed in the process of the recovery.
I think it's honestly just a plot device to give him more of a tragic backstory / reality.
@@IlluvatarPaladin It's the combination of his healing factor and cancer, that makes him look like that. His cancer is constantly trying to kill him, while his healing factor is constantly fighting it off, leaving his cells in a state of disarray
The nature of cancer and the nature of healing have a connection.
You are asking for alot of cells to grow perfectly to the exact conditions they once were without any defects.
Your body is constantly dealing with cancer every day, you just don't notice it because the body typically deals with it.
Your body has cells inside it dying and multiplying all the time. When you are injured you are encouraging the body to produce more cells for the sake of healing.
Lizards are able to regenerate body parts without issues, but we believe its only possible for them because of their complex DNA structure. To compare, they have 10x more genetic information than we do.
If humans were able to regrow limbs, it would always be a considerable risk. Cancer is unfortunately the reason we avoid regenerating things directly onto our bodies.
So yeah, hopefully now you can understand why Wade Wilson is completely covered in cancer.
But it doesn't explain why Wade Wilson isn't a genetic blob of tumors yet.
Now for the less scientific, head canon stuff:
As to why he isn't a bloated tumor yet... I imagine it must be because his super healing factor has cell memory. That means that it stores information of how Wade Wilson should form again. Unfortunately for Wade it seems that the cell memory was taught to reproduce his cancerous cells. Fortunately his cancer cells weren't late stage nor did he have tumors, as that would have made regeneration a mess.
The healing factor pretty much mutated his cancer so it also heals but the healing factor stops it from killing him so deadpool is a walking tumour
0:05 so fun fact, Omega Red is in this scene. Hes standing up behind Wade. You see him throughout this scene cheering on African Tom Cassidy.
And yes that is Omega Red, he was in more scenes that were cut, there’s even a mug shot of him, with the omega symbol on his forehead.
i hope hes in dp 3
1:37 pretty tough for a guy dying of cancer
I mean at that point does anything really bother you? You're already going to die, So pain really doesn't mean shit.
i mean, he deals with pain 24/7 so it really just becomes background noise.
Yeah, he was never immune to pain and pain happens to him a lot lol. It's just another Tuesday to him lol
He's in a state of dying only his healing helps him usually
@@rob6345 Not true. Pain still sucks and this is still a movie.

Black Tom Cassidy was actually a major player in the X-Men comics. Interesting way to fit him in here xD
Bro I legit never noticed Omega fkn Red in this scene. 😂😂😂 so sick!
Like how wade still cant help himself and try to get thier attention off the kid. He knows hes not strong enough to do anything but he is still the merc with the mouth. Even if he obviously doesn't want to do a team up.
From Wade's point of view, his powers were suppressed and was geeting sick due to his cancers and he couldn't help Russel so he wanted nothing to do with him. He wanted to die in peace cuz he couldn't fight back anymore (Until Cable show up of course.)
The thing is he cant die the cancer would kill him temporarily and as soon as they take his collar off his powers would kick in and he would come back to life
@@cade.s It might actually kill him permanently if his body (and his suppressed healing factor by extension) shuts down completely while he dies in that collar.

Wade trying to always act like he’s someone who doesn’t care helping the others, but he has a really protective behavior. For example in the first movie when he technically agreed for free to help that harassed teenager, and in this case as soon as he noticed Black Tom’s predator intentions with Rusell, immediately he started using his annoying talk techniques to flip all of the attention to him instead of Rusell.

Still haven't seen this movie. Might have to. Guy tried to mask his depression with humor that's fascinating.
The first two are funny as hell
It isn't uncommon. Haven't you ever heard of the tears of a clown?
Both Deadpool movies are great, the thing everyone forgets to mention is there's a tragic plot to the story, almost like he's masking it with the crazyness. He's gone wreckless as he's lost the only thing he cares about. Something like that, my explanation ain't the best.
@@barryhercules6486 can't wait to see the third one
