    Hello 👋 do you know if there are any certificates/licenses that one can get in USA that are accredited in Mexico? I'm looking to get some that could potentially help with landing good jobs with good pay if I ever do return. Thanks!!

      Teaching English online would probably be more lucrative than teaching English here in Mexico unless you are a certified teacher then you can get a job as a teacher at an international school, they pay quite well.

    Hi, I have the USA B1/B2 Visa. I can travel from India directly and can stay for 6 months.
    1. Can I search for a job and do a job in IT?
    2. Can I cross the border from Mexico to Guatemala for any paperwork and return back? (I can stay in Guatemala for 30 days with the USA B1/B2 VISA.
    3. How to find and get a job in Mexico with my Masters in Information Technology.

    Hello, Just found your channel and saw some of your videos. You did a great job and wonderful information. Is there governments assistance for elderly and disabled who aren't able to work? How does Mexico help them?

    • @laura-bronner
      @laura-bronner  7 лет назад +1

      Hi Alfredo, thanks for your comment! I'm not sure if there is, but I highly doubt it, unfortunately. There definitely isn't for foreigners living here, I know that for sure. There are many care homes and assistance programs, but they are all privately run and need to be paid for out of pocket. I can recommend a few of them that I've heard about from other expats if you'd like me to pass that info along!

      Alfredo Pesina I'm not sure if they do at all. I just got back from Mexico a few days ago and I saw a lot of elderly and handicapped just living in the streets.

    My dad said that there were no jobs were he was at in Mexico, he's from Michoacan Mexico. He said that you couldn't live with the type of income that he received. He was a bus driver there.
    Is it really true that there is no formal jobs in rural areas that include benefits and social security?

    • @laura-bronner
      @laura-bronner  5 лет назад +1

      Hi Atrian - I really don't know the answer to that question. I don't know many jobs that actually come with benefits and SS unless it is a job for something highly skilled or that requires a lot of experience. If you are coming to Mexico in search of work, you can look for tourism type of jobs in the coastal towns. Otherwise, the larger cities are where the majority of the jobs are.

      Mushraf Shaikh if you teach English or work in an English speaking call center you would probably be fine without Spanish, but in most places you will need Spanish.

    wow i never thought about private academies in mexico before. If they match american teacher salaries, then you and your husband will live like kings in Mexico :), i wonder though how your husband or anyone feels working for what i imagine to be rich Mexican families?

      That's just not true. Plenty of expats live in Mexico City without a degree and are very successful. For a visible example here on RUclips, check out Nathaniel Drew's channel.
