@@RNTV If you are reacting to Mori and Dimash, there is one more artist you should also add in the rotation, Sohyang a CCM/Gospel singer from South Korea. I would recommend starting with 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' or as a kicking off point. Along with 'I Have Nothing', 'Raise Me Up', and 'Arirang Alone' (A Korean folk song, dubbed the SK unofficial national anthem) comprise what I refer to as her "epics". Equally impressive are her appearances on the TV show 'King of Masked Singer' such as 'Breathe', 'Hug Me', 'Home', 'Mona Lisa', and 'Day Day'. More recently though, her stint on the show 'Begin Again: Korea' presents a completely different set of masterful performances in a stripped down, acoustic set of "busking concerts" with other Korean artists. Standouts include 'I Won't Give Up', 'I Will Always Love You' (you will really dig the "sax" solo), 'Flashlight', 'Stay', and 'Love Poem'. For something a little different you should consider exploring the a capella group Pentatonix. They are celebrating their 11th year and have over 200 covers and originals on their channel to choose from, none of which are anything short of stunning. The standard jumping off point would be their immaculate version of the Leonard Cohen classic 'Hallelujah' with 650+ million views (part of their 5+ biilion views and 19 million subs) here on RUclips.

Mori's husband is the son of Missionaries that run a orphanage, for abused and neglected children. He is very faith driven and, has helped Mori embrace faith more. He is the one that did this "one take" version and you hear him at the end. Another one you'll enjoy....since the " BER " season is upon us.( for Filipino's Xmas season starts with the months that end in BER ) O'Holy Night , Favor Church , version is STELLAR.

this song practically a thousand times. The lyrics of this song was written by FREDDIE SANTOS and was arranged by GARY VALENCIANO who is also the first one to sing this
song. But, later they decided to let MORISSETTE sing it for them with DAVID LLAMAR the director of the video who by the way, became the husband of Morrissette later on.

I first experienced Morissette about 6+ years ago and she quickly found a place in my top 5 singers. Her singing, although world-class, is only one of her attributes that endears her to my heart. She is beautiful, in all meanings of the word, and brings joy to all her fall under her spell. Your emotional response to her is a telling view of your own beauty.

It is very important not to stay closed to any ways of searching for comfort. When we get to the point where all our human efforts don't give us solutions to our problems and carried burdens than this is the moment where we can turn to Him. Just because we have run out of ways to find a satisfactory exit out of our troubles. We may throw ourselves into His loving arms and put our tears in His caring heart. He is as much waiting for us as we are determined to ask Him for help. As she sang in "Rise Up" He assures us of His presence and assistance. He wants to lift us up. Because He once had risen up for us. Nothing in this song is just for the sake of (unquestionable) art. It is as serious as our tears are. Thank you so much for this choice of yours!

I'm not in the least surprised when reactors who react to this song sung by her, sheds tears. I am, however, shocked and disappointed when they don't. Knowing Morissette is a born-again Christian, endears her to her fans even more (myself included). She, as an artist, never shies away from her faith and you can hear it in her vocals when she sings Christian songs. And if you haven't noticed, but might need to, when she does sing Christian songs, there is so much more conviction in her voice and near perfection, that few artists bring to similar songs. To watch reactors so moved by her, no matter what she sings, moves me as well. She is one-of-a-kind and still doesn't receive the accolades she so deserves. Sorry for the confusion! The one-take live performance doesn‘t habe subtitles (but they are not needed). There is, however, a more intimate version, in which Mori plays the piano and sings - and this version has english lyrics (for reference).

This was a heartfelt prayer.
As you know, our Queen Morissette is a born-again Christian, and that is maybe the reason on how she was able to give justice to this beautiful song.
Kneeling down on her knees while singing this prayer, humbly asking for the Messiah... That is the true personality of Queen Morissette, and that is why we love her so much and dub her as our Queen (besides her awesome talents).
She offers everything to the Lord, including her talent.
At age 11 y/o, she was duagnosed with a THROAT tumor, which had to be operated on.
She was devastated, of course, because all she ever wanted was to be the best singer that she could be.
So, this event made her cling tighter to her faith. And because of that faith and sheer hard work, she is now achieving her goal. And she is being blessed more and more.🌹👸💕
