I have seen 95% of Morissette’s Live perfs and I can say she is an extremely rare gem. She sounds 5x better LIVE. Seen her concert twice and she blew me away.

This song was written by Freddie Santos, and Gary composed the music for the song. It was used in the theatrical musical “First Name”, which was directed by Freddie. He passed in 2020, so this was part of a tribute to his life and legacy.

I've been listening to Morissette for about 5 years now. She has matured as a vocalist a ton. Her low notes are much better now, kind of creamy.

Morisette give a beautiful rendition and justice to this song 🎵 ❤️. Morissette is such an amazing singer, she always deliver a song with conviction and stellar performance ❤️ ♥️ ❤. No wonder a lot of international composer, music teachers & artist as well commended & respect her as an artist/singer. I watched her concert multiple times and I'm always in awe every time she sing live. Morissette is on my top 3 best female singer.
She is a great singer and she is also a great interpreter because she can project a lot of emotions. When she sings is not just volume, notes or a power voice but feelings. A good singer can hit the notes, vibrate and deliver a perfect and melodic performance but a really great singer is the one can make you feel everything with a sweet and delicate voice. When you mix all of that you have an artist and she is one of the real few ones we still have in this industry. Hi there to everyone, I am from Mexico and I like to sign as many from this group.

Speaking of Gary Valenciano, can you also react to ‘Spain?’ According to one of his interviews, the delivery of this song was intended to showcase the message of the song with her take on this since people already know what she can already do with her voice. This was actually originally made for a musical.
Surely, there’s been a lot of maturing in Morisette’s voice in the last 4 years. With that said, I would still love to watch reaction to her Wishbus cover of Never Enough of 3 years ago.

That sound was an artistic choice, because she has a theater background... In her younger years, she's been singing in theaters before joining television singing competitions and started singing like what she's been doing now.

This comes from a Philippinen Christian Musical writen from Freddie Santos who sadly passed away in December 2020, Gary Valenciano who did the original arrangement and sang this song, rearranged it for Morissette and Dave lamar was the Director.

Gary Valenciano arranged this especially for Mori. Yes, it came from a (Christian) musical. Part of the rationale was also to honor the lyricist Freddie Santos, who passed away last December. The vocal track was a single take, this music video had editing cuts but another single take visual video was also produced. Thank you for your informative review and reaction to this gem from Asia's Phoenix.
You hit the nail on its head. The writer of this song, Freddie Santos, is one of the well-know theater actor/playwriter. And Mori also has a theater background. She did a Disney musical production when she was in her early teens.

I can't stop myself from commenting. I am Filipino and really idolizes Morisette. All of your comments about her from Driver's License are soooo amazing and honest. Other than you guys being concerned about Morisette, you are also concerned about your viewers which happen to be Morissette's fans that could possibly try and do or achieve the same singing capacity that Morrisette does, which is very hard since it requires a lot of training to do. Keep this honesty up Chase and Melia. You got a sub here and I hope that you will do more video reactions to Filipino singers which I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy it.

I wish you do more reaction of mori, because you are the only vocal coaches that is on-point and was not afraid of saying "constructive critism" towards mori, so when you say it is beautiful, I believed that it is really beautiful. This song caught all my attention with the Powerful Lyrics of each word of the song. The meaning of this song has A greater impact moreso with the powerful performance brings more emotions.
This song is in her Gospel Album and its Gary Valenciano's song and he recomposed it and asked Morissette to do it but with emotions. Its like a confused person asking questions and its like a genuine prayer and she released this song as it applies to what the world is going through right now. Happy reacting

I love Morissette. I love everything she does vocally. I really liked this performance. Nothing fancy, just her beautiful voice. Don't get me wrong I get just as hepped-up on all the squeeks, whistles and growls as anybody. It was just nice to hear a song that is just her and her voice.I think this might be my favorite song by her.
