Great video Vlad 👍🏼 For me it really captures the idea of our own personal races within running. You won the race with an amazing time but got disappointed because you wanted more. On the other hand Jon was happy with his result, cause even though he didn't win the race, he did better than what he expected and finished strong. Well done for both of you! You're amazing runners 💪🏼
thank you! years of consistent running, Jon has done 70 marathons I have done 60 ultra marathons so the body is used to the impact and can bounce back really quickly
A great vid to watch, hope you do some more of these documentaries! Whilst I'm here, a big thank you to your workout videos and advice in them. 2 months ago I was a couch potato having not been to the gym ever and doing no exercise and now I've lost 10kg and running every other day and doing your workout videos every day. Today I reached 7.25km, my aim is to hit 10km before Christmas and who knows after that. I'll make sure to check out the vitamins, lets see if we can get you that BMW! 😀
would you keep running if there are no races? absolutely. to keep fitness up and be able to explore new trails and do long distance adventure type of running. thanks for the video!
We actually spoke off air recollecting first meeting .. Dwellingup 47km trail marathon sometime around 2012/2013, vlad was a guest motivational speaker the day prior, I distinctly remember asking how do you find energy levels in the longer ultra distances being a vegan runner .. something along the line of never looking back and being fat adapted… fast forward 10years and I’m only just getting this now! Meanwhile the next day vlad ran the trail half marathon and blitzed past me like I was walking .. a great eye opener for what is possible for many of us. So glad you enjoyed the doco, great balance of the humour and love we get as everyday runners 💯
Thank you! just from local running races - I really liked the idea of Jon trying to run 100 marathons - something that I guess I might try and aim and get in next 10-15 years
Great stuff Vlad. Been watching you for a while. Your such an inspiration. I was actually at that race cheering on everyone and I have a channel of my own which im really trying to grow and get 1k subs so if you like we could have a collab. Keep it up!

Vlad's got jokes! It's great to be able to put names to faces I've seen on your instagram and Strava photos and videos. I'm loving this series.
Thank you 🤗
