    Daniel, Watch the earlier video when your dad was inspecting rear uni-joint...watch closely; that joint has about 1/8" of movement in it! Always enjoy your videos! btw, that joint was under pressure when you tried to move it (probably in "park") Put the truck on a rack where you won't have to sliver around like a snake...

      @brucefaz55 11 месяцев назад

      I would remove the driveshaft from differential and work thru its full range of motion. you might find there is either slop in the u joint or binding

    Remember the open station combines? Looking at the dust cloud around the combine and remembering dust on clothes, face, hands, even penetrating your shirt! Thank goodness for comfortable cabs.

    After years in the business of working on trucks, you can replace all the u joints and it will probably still make the noise. We replaced the drive shaft with a steel shaft and got rid of the noise,but first check the rear end to verify that it's not in the diff.

    On your pickup may want to check and make sure the leaf springs are not shifting, I had a alinement bolt that holds the springs from shifting break on a truck I used to have, took quite a while to figure it out.

    Daniel
    Take you a small triangle file and file in between the splines on both ends of the shaft and I just about guarantee you and will slide on and off easily

    Daniel check that u joint again this time jack up the truck get the back wheels off the ground and put the transmission in neutral. That takes all the pressure off the driveshaft and then you can get a true idea if it's bad or not. Just a little advice from a diesel mechanic of 38 years. Hope this helps

    I always heard it called Marker corn. You can mark a row and be able to see it for a specific reason. Variety change,fertilizer change or chemical change etc.

    Daniel...check out Ivers farms...Dennis designed/built a small blower for the header top...switch under steering wheel to activate...hooks right up to air, although he uses an extra tank for reserve pressure...stalk used all the corn/cob building nutrients to build stalk...could item the genetically altered seed?...

    I watched Millennial Farmer yesterday on RUclips and he put these plastic or nylon plates by May West on the bottom of the snouts. He said it keeps the snout from damage by not letting it ride too low. Also, there were some new tips they put on the snouts. Interesting stuff. Wonder if that might help you? No, I don't work for May West ( I guess Farm Products?).

    I'm wondering if with pressure on the diff and transmission, knowing even if the UJ was bad you climbed under there with torque on it and tried to wiggle it just for shits and giggles? Surely you know it would have the weight of the drivetrain on it, you would need to jack it up. Good on you for taking the piss out of the commenters tho. Put some 85-140 oil in the diff for a couple of days and that will show up if it's the backlash in your diff. Just a suggestion Daniel. You do what you do best as your life seems perfect the way it is.
