So cool seeing where our local honey comes from!!!! 🍯🍯
Pretty neat!
Especially comming out of fla. I guess pressure washing real good. I am small timer wanting to be a big timer. I sent mine out with someone else, he sent 25 hundred hives
I wouldn’t say that small time! How much honey do you produce?
@@PomesandStones (aheville NC,) berween spring flo and then the sour wood flo this year, I just finished feeding them for winter stores! Flop of a flow this season. for my 150 hives.got to take the good with the bad. I am looking to send them to fla. I was looking more at the Brazilian pepper flow in oct. but now you have me looking into the oranges as well
Orange blossom honey is highly sought after and brings in more per pound when sold!
Most of it doesn’t look capped
We put them through an uncapper
Your honey combs look pretty old.
We only swap them out when they break.
what do the bees work in fla in oct?
We ship them down in oct then they start oranges when the time is right! Then they go to California for almonds!
@@PomesandStones cool, I sent mine to calif this year for first time, I am looking into the pollinating end of it now.
The inspections are brutal sending bees there aren’t they!
So cool
Thanks! And welcome back!
Doesn’t look a very hygienic process
All honey get heat killed before bottling
Mate Do you need thumbnail + video editing service
I do it all myself!
