nice collection. i've owned many scorpions over the years...and I think i've only had 1 molt... I have a Arizona Desert now that i know isn't full grown, so i'm looking fwd to a molt. It hink it may have at least 2 molts before being full grown
If you can remove it without bothering the scorpion, that would be fine but you could also leave the exoskeleton until the scorpion hardens if you don’t want to disturb or risk injuring it.
Hey I need advice! I own a juvi Androctonus Australis. She haven’t eaten for 4 weeks and acts somewhat lethargic. However she does have the aggression, but not like before. Any tips?
How long can pre molt stage last? Can't tell if mine is stressed or in pre molt he's a juvenile asian forest scorpion I've had him 2 weeks and has continually refuses food
Thank you appreciatethe response, thats what I've been doing he does kill the prey but throws it away from him, only tried him twice (once a week to see if he'd eat) humidity and temperature are perfect in his enclosure
Very nice video, with good information step by step! Also, the Leiurus Jordanensis is very good!
I got a Asian forest and he seems to try and sting when no food near him I gave him a mealworm and didn’t want it is this sign of premolt
You have such beautiful variety
Great video! Very informative

Muito legal suas várias espécies de escorpiões 🦂 👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻
What would be a reasonable amount of time for a juvenile to molt? Like, when should I start to worry and raise the humidity for them?
If the body is stuck in molt longer than a day it’s pretty much done for. They can survive with legs or a claw missing
So I'm supposed to leave the exo-skeleton in there until it hardens? I have an Asian Forest Scorpion.

It probably needs access to warmer temperatures

It varies but shouldn’t last long for them if humidity is good. I would leave it alone for a couple weeks and keep the water source full.
