I'm just mesmerized by watching Su articulate each word as she sings. I often see people complementing her clear pronunciation and I concur. I love Japanese, but no matter which language she sings in, she makes it sound beautiful.

Being that you are a singer...I would check out their latest release Metal Kingdom. Su's vocals will blow you away. Excellent reaction! I hate that this version is so short. Especially since they were introducing Momometal. Now, Monochrome (piano version) on the First Take is a step way above. Queen Su goes off with the ever reliable Princess Moa providing wonderful backing vocals. You will LOVE it! Akatsuki (unfinished version) from the Legend 1997 show is another stripped down and beautiful piece. Our then 16 year old Queen coming to grips with the sacrifice she knows she must make to continue the fight for the Metal Resistance is crazy good. Whether she new it or not, it was her pathway to becoming a Metal Goddess. Tissues are recommended. I look forward to your next one!

Nice reaction! A video of the girls at the airport was recently posted on RUclips. It is hard to make out their faces with the masks, but the woman, who is probably SUMETAL, looks like a little teenage girl, which surprised me. Her voice also still has the purity of a teenage girl.
Its probably because she has been singing for over half her life, and she has a very healthy technique when singing. You can clearly see she takes care of her voice a lot. Hard to imagine she's 25, because she looks and sound like a teenager, right?

I didn't like The One First Take video as much as the Monochrome one. Su's singing was great, but it seemed to me that the backup vocals were either processed or else overlaid on top of a background track, or both. I could be wrong, since I'm an undereducated layperson when it comes to these things, but it sounded like that to me nonetheless. Plus for some reason, the women had a very heavy skin-smoothing video filter applied, which looked really odd.
