Sometimes its wonderful to have a terrible flu. I just finished the Chapter about and with Germana di Giulio in Rasponis magnificent The last Primadonnas. The last time it was 15 years ago, before youtube. And i am overwhelmed about this version of Giocondas Aria. She is fantastic. Even the chest voice is not open.....Never ordinary, never vulgar, classical style, full of sadness, hopeless. she must be overwhelming at the stage. Even a little trill? ...i hear this on my tablet..... very, very, very wonderful. You can sing Verismo...or even a Wegbereiter-Rolle without shouting like a wife on a fish market... and she not sounds like a tigress, she is desperately... fantastic. Thank you so much about your upload of this magnificent singer. You made my day !
3:23 évidemment ses notes de poitrine sont extraordinaires .Mais ses aigus ne sont pas si justes que cela . En outre le legato est assez malmené et on a du mal à imaginer qu'elle ressent vraiment ce qu'elle chante .
You're not very familiar with opera, right? Low notes needs to be pronounced in a full way. To be able to reach such low register with this richness is something incredibly skillfull.
@@alvarodecampostabacaria4223 You are so right, Alvaro. Resonance in the chest register is a skill that, sadly, belongs to the past. It adds so much richness and passion to the rendition.
I cannot get enough of this artist with her fully developed voice of extraordinary beauty and color.
Fra le tenebre...dentro l'avel...como un tenor lirico... maravillosa!
How is this the first time I've ever heard her?!? Incredible!! Brava!
Her few recordings are very rare. They're slowing coming to the surface.
spectacular low register indeed
Semplicemente perfetta! Voce di petto, chiaroscuro, espressività, tutto!
È da non credere!
Superb spinto, with a splendid tone both high and low
She was a dramatic soprano, not spinto.
Overwhelming and moving - never heard of her before. Thank you for sharing
She is one special singer and artist.
AMAZING !!!

This is very unnatural. Woman shouldn’t sound like men.

Idiot. Like a man? It's a question of power
In NO way does she sound like a man. Men sound like pussycats next to her.
If a soprano have chest voice doesn't mean that she is a man. Chest voice and low notes are BASIC to opera.
