One feedback for a complete newb (that had me confused for 10 seconds), is that up to this point every event had been touch activated and the Inn Keeper defaults to a click. If you started with zero experience and were just following your instructions you never say to activate the keeper by hitting return. For a moment I thought I was doing something wrong until I rewound and could hear your click. Just feedback from some one fresh having never touched this program. These videos are awesome and I appreciate your time and effort!
I really like these tutorials I watched another set of tutorials by another guy, he explained every part of rpg maker very well but he never really built anything like how you are doing Venthros and i thank you for that because I kinda didn't even know where to start when I got this program
That moment when your wide awake and trying to concentrate, but your eyes are like "Nah ah" and keeps closing, I feel it XD Also, I'm planing on making a cut seen in my inn. Like a character blocking the way to the beds,then you walk to the receptionist and buy a room, then your character will automatically walk to the other person, talk, and the the person will move out of the way and you will walk towards a bed, what do yah think?

I made it slide sideways in a jail map, which looks cool but doesn't do any justice for reality in a medieval style game! it looks electric the way it slides, so how can i make a realistic looking animated cell door to a jail? it shouldn't just disappear right?
This is great, but say I want to go through the door, and I don't want the noise it makes. How do I fix that? I know I can edit the event and delete it out, but is there a way to change that right away?

Venomia chii After creating the door, open the door event. Right click the "play sound effect" command after the transfer player command and click edit. From here, you should be able to change the sound to whatever you like. I hope that helps.
I question why the RPG maker has to be so expensive. You can buy a actual game maker for 20 bucks on steam. Good thing I can at least make a small game on Lite.
Where did you get the gold to test the INN I tryed to add enemies to my map to test my INN out but I cant find out what to do. I remember doing it once when I was testing out RPG maker VX ace but I dont know how I did it. Please help or please tell me how you started your player out with Gold. Thank you in advance. Pentagronity , make sure you aren't leaving holes in your wall for the windows to go in. The windows in the B tab are designed to "stack" on top of the wall tiles. Hope this helps!

+Eric Dias In event editing mode, just right-click and set your starting position to the map you want to test. Just change it back when you're done.

He meant, OC already had 50 G default so nothing showed up but if we don't from default. So it gives out message like "You don't have enough money".
