Introduction:
A. The plan of Herod (iniquity) -vs.1-3
B. The prison of Peter (difficulty) -v.4
C. The prayers of the Church (fervently) -vs.5,12
D. The power of God (almighty) -vs.6-17
It is a must to have important things when we face difficulties!
What are those things?
3 important things that we need when we face difficulties:
I. WE NEED PRAYERS TO GOD
A. Prayer is our access. -v.5; Hebrews 4:16
B. Prayer is our armour. -v.5; Ephesians 5:18
C. Prayer is our activity. -vs.5,12
D. 1 Thessalonians 5:17
II. WE NEED THE POWER OF GOD
A. God is in control. -vs.6-10
B. God cares. -v.11, 1 Peter 5:7
C. God can. -vs.11,17
D. Luke 1:37; Luke 18:27
III. WE NEED THE PEOPLE OF GOD
A. We call God for one another.
1. Regularly -v.5
2. Unitedly -v.12
B. We are concerned for one another. -v.13-15
1. We are of the same faith. -Ephesians 4:5
2. We are of the same family. -Romans 8:14-16
C. Hebrews 10:23-25
Conclusion:
"God will not permit any trouble to come upon us, unless He has a specific plan by which great blessing can come out of the difficulty."
