Your video instructions on how to set the trap are the clearest and most helpful of any I’ve seen! Thanks to your video, I can now successfully set the trap and have been able to release mice that have made their way into our house. Huge thank you!!! And I hope the company will take your great idea for the top plate access for easier bait tray loading and cleaning!
I have never left a comment on a RUclips video in my entire life, but today I feel compelled to say: THANK YOU for making this fantastic video! I was honestly at my wit’s end with these traps.
Thank you. Very self explained on how to set this trap. My landlord set a trap to catch a vermit and I accidently kicked it and set it off. I did what you said and set it up perfectly.
Excellent! You lost me with the top plate but I am good with setting the trap now. I have a free older model. The top plate is riveted on. Saved this video!👍
What an amazing coincidence: you posting a video about a humane trap. Last night after some heavy rain, two mice simultaneously entered my house via the roof - one came in via the vent for the range hood, and the other came in via the vent for the bathroom extractor fan. Clattering sounds from both ends of the house. Very spooky.
@RayGreen94510 no, no, no! If your goal is to make a mess inside the trap, let the mice feed on misplaced peanut butter instead of quickly triggering the trap, then you have semi-suitable method. But do you let mouse urine, feces, saliva accumulate inside the trap, then at some point you will need to get inside to clean it. Because of the small size of this trap, reaching in to clean it is difficult at best. My simple hack allows easier baiting and much easier cleaning.

Same!!!! And just as he said - EVERY video I watched had a hand in the way or was too far away!

The short version is to use a plastic disposal knife to apply peanut butter to the bait plate
