    I appreciate this. Many in the top 1% are great people who have worked their ass off and are now helping the world. I'm tired of the "money is bad" myth.

      Your statement is completely wrong the 1 percent is full of people with old wealth, maybe 1% of the 1%s are people who were poor and earned their fortune through hard work. Maybe do a tiny bit of research before you make stupid comments.

    I also grew up resenting rich people and assuming they are all "evil" so to speak. As I aged and began to read and study these successful people through their books (as well as RUclips) I have done a complete 180 and absolutely admire most of these people. I now aspire to be a fraction of the class and kindness that they exude. It's refreshing.

      No most of them are total pieces of shit, Ive never hated rich people I have rich people in my family, they are all the same they view poor people as a cancer on society. They view poor people as less than human, they think poor people must be dumb, on drugs, or lazy. There have bin many studies that back up what I'm saying many studies that show poor people are far more generous than rich people. How can you have a billion dollars and sleep at night when there a millions of people starving or homeless within 15 minutes of you, the answer is they are narcissist and think they deserve everything they have and they must be more intelligent or harder working and that why they have what they do. The truth is everyone who is filthy rich got lucky and that's it.

    If making money is tied to adding value to society and making society and the environment a better place then by all means we need more people chasing after and making more money!! The problem happens from people making money e.g. selling unhealthy food, destroying the planet or having a net negative impact on people/society and the planet.. This century is all about doing business + doing good for society/the environment! Which is great to see!

    Sometime within the next 10 years, I will be the founder of a company valued at 1 Billion+. For me, the main driver to do this is not money but to be in a position to help people on a grand scale.
    I am in no way saying that I don't love money because I do love money! I grew up being told that the rich are greedy but as I have become more exposed to the wealthy this is rarely the case at all. Often times their main driver isn't money at all, I believe this is why they have achieved such "Success".

      Nice to see you again Captial solutions! I try to stay focused on my goals 24/7 365 because to have to get to the level I want to get to it takes complete dedication and not just hard work, The mental aspect of it and personal health is equally as important. I used to be a very different person but one day I was told these words "Train your brain and your body will follow." that day same day I started studying neurology and it changed my life forever. Change comes from the inside out, When you have constructed a "mental fortress" (that's what I call it) the only thing that could possibly stop you is yourself. Keep it up as well and I hope to continue to see you around the VALUETAINMENT community!

    I have a small business doing handy man work and overall maintenance for people at their homes or places of work.
    The only clients that roll their eyes/debate/make a fuss over my price are the extremely rich ones.
    The smaller fish clients value my work, pay what I charge them with no complaints and call me back again regularly.
    In my line of work, rich people are greedy and just about always have a hard time valuing what I do for them.

      I had to do construction work with the poorest men while studying engineering and I saw that while everyone has the choice to work hard and to save up money, they were born into awful situations and now work incredibly hard, earn much less than you and even if they worked hard all their lives saving they would have lived hard boring lives, you on the other hand, start rich, work less, earn more, and all you did for it was be born well off. What im trying to say is don't think for a moment that you deserve what you have.

    Stop watching TV is one of the best decision you can make. Read books instead, it will make you happy or maybe rich. Thanks to Patrick, I feel really bored when I watch TV nowadays. I prefer read or listen audio books. I try to be rich cause money is a accelerator. If you are a good person, it will make you better and if you are bad, it will make you villain :)

    I grow up in China, and I was been taught rich people are greedy, rude, and they probably bribe their way up to where they at, but not until I came to US for college six years ago, and i start learning about wealthy people in America and their contributions to the world and make me realized my middle class mindset was with me for over 20 years and I finally realized I have the chance to make a different and I'm. Going to take it and make a impact and bring value back to people!

  • @matjazkranjc
    @matjazkranjc 7 лет назад +2

    Another great one! So true on everything except maybe on taxes as they are more educated how to invest further and most of this is giving it away to charity, which then pays for all kind of stuff before that money hit the targeted people. I know a lot of them are honest but too much of them are just trying to avoid taxes. I'm good with the charity but it should be limited on like max 10% to go to expenses and the rest to where it supposed to go. That's the main reason I cannot help to people in africa (only 5% of my donated money will go to them), but I can help locally as I go directly to source and give my best to them.
    Thanks for that video Patrick. Cheers

    "The Millionaire Next Door." Everyone who has that hate rich people mentality should read it, because they'll find out the people they hate aren't rich and are under achieving in net worth. High income earners that spend spend spend and dig their graves so they can lay down and watch the debt pave them in. Status guys and wealthy guys are all around different in mentality and lifestyle. Far too often the lower class sees no difference.

    I don't think all rich people are greedy, I mean who wouldn't want to not care about money and to have freedom to travel, not have to do housework etc. But I also think some rich people are greedy, the ones that don't invest in or show appreciation for those who helped them be rich. A rich person usually owns a company and a company is usually ran and maintained by a lot of poorer people.

    My ex husband is rich, now he puts a mother of his kids with both children on starvation, out of the house in cold winter, while he travels first class to Caribbean with his girlfriend and her daughters and refuses to pay alimony for 2 years. He keeps saying it's all his. Some rich people make me puke. But despite all this, the fact is that I do fight for better future by my own in foreign country without best friends and family, I do it for the best outcome for my kids, work, run business and a single mother, I know I will be paid back by the universe. One day we have it all and the next we loose it all. And why we might loose it- because of giving trust to a wrong person. Bottom line it's not how much you have. Is what you are!! Rich person is the one who can live with or without lots of money, most important that he/she can easily go back on the horse and stand proud and be thankful for what he/she has and be happy with it and fight for more, do more, for themselves and others. I might lost my house, my savings, my assets as it was simply taken away from me by a rich, greedy, rude man. But I didn't loose my dignity, my heart, my love, my kids, my health, my dreams, my motivation, my ambition, my ability to work hard 6 days a week, be nice to others, help others, sharing, cleaning and doing it all alone. Some rich people don't deserve to have money! A doctor who saves lives everyday might not have 1 billion, but their heart worth more then any money can buy!!

    You can be rich and not greedy and help people juss saying ya know dont lose your humanity just because you worked hard doesnt give you an excuse to be a shit human being.

  • @RadekZielinski.
    @RadekZielinski. 5 лет назад

    Money is respect. You pass respect to another human being so they can live a fuitful life. Just because your're more respected on the street than you deserve, it dosen't make you more happy, it only means they'll be expecting more from you the next time, or you'll start losing money (those that give you the money are more important than money it's self). Money is a meter, it does not specify it's value theoritically in the the amount compared to others... money grows on trees, the only catch is to make sure that tree grows well at all times. Quality money... money is quality, and quality is respect... and respect is your work helping another human as he helps you. It's just like the the food chain but no one gets eaten.

      Well I'm from a middle class family , and they taught from my earliest childhood that rich are greedy and I've never assumed my will to be rich and to be free financially , you are giving factual arguments to prove your point of view and that's why I really liked this video and Found it really inspiring and motivating to make more money :D

    Good points
    But most rich people are in relationships with people who wouldn't love them if they were poor.

    It's all myth created by jealousy and envy toward the rich by poor people in fact being rich it makes you less greedy less obsessive over money. Being poor makes you obsessed with money selfish and greedy it's total opposite. Become rich to help people

    What he is saying is that if you are in a car accident that leaves you paralyzed from neck down, it is still said to be all your fault for not dying as a rich person further on down the line. This guy thinks it is OK for the richest person to be so wealthy, that a person surviving on disability would have to save every penny of his or her income for over 15 million years to become just as wealthy. 15 God damn bloody million years. Where does fairness and respect fit into that picture. Oh yes, it's all the poor disabled person's fault, for not being up there with the rich.

    I am open to anyone responding to this question. Do you not believe that creating low wage jobs with no room for promotion is not taking advantage of people, especially when this labor enables these people to focus on other endeavors? I
