NOTE: During the sound clip you'll notice that there's smoke coming from the exhaust.
That's normal as the exhaust was started there the first time and inside the exhaust is oil residue from the manufacturing process.
When the exhaust gets hot the first time, this oil burns off and that's the reason for the smoke you see there.

The V-rod engine is a works racer machine for the start dash, and a Porsche for high rotation!!! The V-rod engine is a direct descendant of the works machine VR1000!!!! it's an amazing motorcycle👍👍👍

I have a 04 vrscb that i bought new in 06. I have vmodded stock exhaust k&n filter in a topless box and a power commander and dyno tuned as well. I have been told that the danmoto full exhaust will perform bettter and save weight. I am considering one this winter.

it was really hard to get the front pipe in the cylinder head and align it at the same time with the rest of the exhaust. Also the process in the video didn't work for me. So I had to find my own steps to get the complete system on the bike. after all.. nice exhaust with great sound. Only downside; the pipes should be more easy to fit and align..

Thank you for the video. It is very informative. I recently purchased these pipes. I think the spring clips are because I am going to be dragging this pipe when I am burning through curves and it is a mechanism to make sure the whole system doesn't get torn off the bike. The other question I have is how in the hell do you sell an exhaust system and not include the necessary motor exhaust port gaskets? That's just dumb. I wanted to get these on my bike and ride tomorrow and now I have to go find some gaskets? Come on, sell the complete package.

Actually it's not 2005 in 2006 that you cannot Mount your exhaust it's 2006 and 2007 were the only two years that the V-Rod street rods were made with the mid controls.

Saint-Seiya-81 yes. You should always tune after a full exhaust is installed
Yes absolutely this bike runs lean with the stock exhaust with a full exhaust it would only run leaner and probably melt something.
Does the exhaust come with the o2 adapters?

You never put in the gasket for rhe hearders, suppose to be a fiber mesh ring that goes into the head to seal the headers in tight

Definitely does not fit like this on the painted model. The paint sticks together and binds so you cant wiggle the muffler. On top of that most of the paint scraped off of the header from the flange bracket just from movement. Absolute garbage to install. Next time I take it off itll be for the dumpster.

Hello,
these gaskets are only for the Air-Cooled models. They won't fit the V-Rod.
For the V-Rod you need Cometic gaskets # C9928

Danmoto International does the hp increase? Compared the V&H is there and difference in the diameter of the muffler? Have you compared sounds? How do you keep your price so low and others so high?
Sounds awesome but don't buy it mine was on my vrod this past summer and exhaust cracked in 3 months.
