  • Watching Zenyatta at Santa Anita on 3-13-10. She has such presence. Sorry for the shaky camera... I got a little excited, along with a lot of other folks who were there. Hope you enjoy it anyway.

Never mind the shake, you caught the flavor. I worked trackside at a world-class for 5 years. Every race to us, was an Apollo moonshot. Go Baby Go!
    Good job.

This is fabulous! Thanks for sending it to me.....and Yes it is extremely difficult to hold the camera steady when in the presence of greatness!! Santa Anita is such a beautiful track and setting....this is one of my favorite races because Zenyatta looks so beautiful and the track (mountains...saddle cloth etc...).... almost match her beauty...Go Zenyatta!!

@rg184511 Thanks. How lucky/blessed you were to work there. Such magnificent animals they are.

@AnimalsRock4Love Hey, thanks for the comment and subscription. It is a beautiful track, and I was so excited to see her! She's awesome, isn't she.. She makes me feel so happy when I watch her. I'm planning to see her again, hopefully, at Hollywood Park on June 13.

@ganglion99 Thanks! It was an exciting race. I'm just glad I was there for it. I'll try that elbow trick next time, or maybe a better camera.

nice spot at the rail. You really captured the crowd excitement. Thanks for this! Next time you might try putting your elbows on that rail we keep seeing--I imagine it would've steadied your cam quite a bit.

haha to the guy saying "She's not gonna do it. She's not gonna get there..."
    NEVER doubt the Queen.
However, I was not a fan of the 'oh lets see if she can get herself out of trouble' sort of approach to this race. I don't like experiencing brief heart attacks.
