    Reportage VTB Regio15: www.regio15.nl/...
After an accident the paramedics requested a police escort from the A12 near Nootdorp to the HMC Westeinde hospital in The Hague
After the request is granted by the supervisors three officers respond to the call and provide the escort.

Damn, I'm driving for an emergency organisation in germany and I have to say: many things can be learned from this:
    1. The traffic seems to be much more patient and better reacting than in germany.
    2. Impressive to see that there are the human resources to escort an ambulance - in germany, there won't be 3 police bikes having time for this.
    3. Look on how many time this ambulance saved by not having to clear the path on it's own. Nice way to send a squad of police bikes to clear the way. By beeing small, they even manage to go in between two lanes of cars to manage the clearing from the frontside, so anyone sees them. Damn, that's clever.
The single thing we should *not* learn from is the distance they have to go. Dude, the Netherlands are only about two square kilometers, how can it take so long to go from the scene of accident to a hospital, especially driving that quickly?

Actually, it is 42.000 km2. It obviously depends on how far the hospital is from the accident but it can still take a while to get to the hospital especially if you have a lot of traffic to handle.

@@joeyw8326 Okay, I should have known that someone will complain about the onliest joke I wrote in that whole text.
Yes, it may depend on how far away from a hospital the accident happend, but srsly, Den Haag is one of the biggest cities in the Netherlands and I'm a little surprised on how long it takes to reach a hospital in such a big city.

Nice to see the speedometer, I always wonder how fast you lads are going! Quite some people complaining about 'infrequent' videos. I guess that's just because we all love to watch these - I don't know any other team in the world uploading so much. Thanks for making these available in your free time; if possible, I hope you could use some volunteers that no doubt would love to help you edit more video's. And: get well!

@@davidgitin5367 It's not only up to the drivers of regular vehicles. There's a video from the police in Las Vegas if I remember it right, that 'escort' an ambulance. But there's no system in their behaviour and some traffic cop at some junction does not even care about the situation.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not here to just slash on the US, but the training these guys get is very intensive. Without planning, thinking about all other emergency-vehicles involved, having eyes in the back of your head, but especially working ahead of the situation, it will be utter chaos.
Most likely, regular motorcops will fail at this, just because they did not get the same training. These are motorcops from the The Hague Corps. As they escort all kinds of VIP's (as Parliament is seated in this city) and such, they get extra training to do this in this manner. Regular motorcops do not.

very well done to those police outriders. They were very professional and made a big difference to the poor person in the ambulance. I hope that person is fit and well again now.
