Hello Bro. I’m following you on YT. I’m curious what kind of Hybrid is the All New 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Model. Is it a parallel or series hybrid system?
I figured out what the rear reminds me of: early 90’s Geo Metro hatchback, Dodge/plymouth Colt hatchback, Daihatsu Charade hatchback and Toyota Previa minivan. Otherwise, I love it.
@eduardoannesi4099 EXACTLY and you can buy 2-3 Santa Fe for tbe cost of a Land Rover. Nowadays there's NO WAY to justify spending that much more as Rover's depreciate so fast they're only good for leasing to businesses, as you can get 100% tax break typically, because the lease payments are higher due to the low value at the end of the lease. 😉 ruclips.net/user/shortsdaFyKLnCmZM?si=lt263EeBizP23D0M
Just got a 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited FWD, in Earthy Brass Matte paint (a $1000 option😮) with Pecan Brown Leather. Such a rich color combo! I was blown away with the fit, finish, and quality of materials used in this vehicle. Performance wise, it didn’t nock my socks off but did deliver as well rounded and comfortable daily driver.
I got the same vehicle, calligraphy with white leather and it is pretty awesome. The power isn't great unless you put it into sport mode but the car is incredible in terms of features and comfort.
will we get to order the trim, powertrain, drivetrain, colors, and options we want or will we be stuck with whatever our dealership gets like Toyota does? Will you let dealerships assign markups? hate hate hate dealership markups over MSRP.
Will the side view mirrors be self dimming? Will it have an integrated dash cam? These are in the Korean spec but wasn't sure if they would carry over to the North American spec? What watts and amps will the inverter use for the standard outlet in the trunk? Only ever saw this in the Korean spec
I'm 99% certain it's Terracotta Orange, which will supposedly only be available in the XRT, Limited, or Calligraphy trims and not until May or whenever the Calligraphy model becomes available in the US. Ultimate Red is a typical red color and should be available at launch.
I really enjoy my 2924 SEL Santa Fe!!!!!!! So many features and so much technology! It is practically self driving if you choose! Seats a re so comfortable. Super quiet on the road and a very responsive dual clutch transmission and engine power. I have the 4 cylinder turbo and get 31 mpg on the highway at 73 mph! I've tested several cruise speeds and this seems to be the best without slugging along at 55 mph. This car is so quiet on the road you will be amazed. I like the two types of drive, either normal or sport. I used the sport in traffic and then switch to normal on the open road or highway. Very responsive. I never liked the CVT transmission in my Subaru. This dual clutch transmission is very smooth and antcipates which gear to select based on your acceleration. Fantastic.
I ❤ this 2024 Santa Fe, it looks like a Land Rover Defender, i ❤ the Earthy Brass Matte is my favorite exterior color, i ❤ the assist grip handle, dual wireless charging pads, and you finally added Wireless Android Auto and Wireless Apple CarPlay
past press release mentioned it would be available in 11 colors including Atlantis Blue Pearl. I've never seen one in Atlantis Blue Pearl and the most recent press release still says 11 colors in north America but only 10 are listed and Atlantis Blue Pearl is omitted. will it be available in Atlantis Blue Pearl and if so what does it look like?
Please make PHEV version of the XRT, so we can have room mode HVAC like Rav4 Prime.. and then have ikamper make a roof top camper that pass thru down in the 3rd row seating areas thru the glass roof
Hey Hyundai, great car! Such a privilege to be able to buy a $47k car AND have the engine blow up at 80,000 miles!! you guys are killing it! literally!!!
No. Only turn key ignitions were effected for years 2011-2022. Santa Fes were not really effected as most were sold with push button starts on more recent models.
Gion, Can you xomment on the following three potential new features for the US version of the 2024 Santa Fe Calligraphy AWD gas edition (not hybrid). I live in Florida and have two of these same AWD Calligraphy trims with dealerships on reserve. I see from other RUclips videos the ability to have these three features I am looking for fully available. First, will the US market have a power tilting and telescoping steering wheel as I see in Korea? Second, will the US market have the ergonomic driver seat as I see in Korea on the driver side door just above the driver one and two seat position buttons? Third, will the US market AWD Santa Fe Calligraphy have the relaxation seats on both the driver and passenger front seats as I see in Korea? I must say they if Hyundai does not offer these three features that are available in other international markets, then, in my opinion, Hyundai USA partially dropped the ball on this newly redesigned vehicle. We don't yet have a Monroney Label from the Montgomery , Alabama plant to see exactly what's available so I am hoping you could shed some light on these three important items. Thank you!
Just hold on till it's released to the US market because there are features from previous models that Hyundai didn't bring over from the Korean market because of regulations and/or pricing.
@@theswagateer2806I just saw another RUclips channel with a Hyundai salesman in Orlando that landed his first Limited trim FWD 24 Santa Fe yesterday. It's white on a light beige leather. I saw that it has dual wireless chargers and the fingerprint reader. It has a bench second row seat and looks pretty spacious compared to the 23 Santa Fe. I guess we'll just need to wait and see what exactly happens here in the US. I did get my hands on the Canadian specs today for their Ultimate Calligraphy trim and it does have the relaxation seat for the driver as well as the ergonomic massage seat for the driver. It also has a manual tilt and telescoping steering wheel so that was a little bit of a let down. I agree though that we need to wait and see as the suspense will be over soon as the Limited trims are now landing at US Hyundai dealerships. More to come!
@@jamesfronte8318 I was also wondering about those three features specifically since the Korean models have it. The backside of the front seat headrests also seem different on the Korean version. The Ergomotion for the driver and passenger relaxation seat in particular are such great features. How did you get your hands on the Canadian specs? I'm in Canada and none of the dealers here have it yet, and I haven't found any online too.
Will the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid Calligraphy Trim be available with the Black Ink interior and if so will the black ink interior only be available with certain matched exterior colors?
Whoever designed the backend of this should never be allowed to design anything ever again. The placement of those tail lights... Blecchh. Everything else looks alright
And their $50k. 🙃 pretty cool vehicle. Only SUV I’d want to own but not for $50k. The XRT model should be around $40k I’ll have to see everything you lose going down to that trim and see if it’s worth even considering. But crazy how much more they raised the price on these things. I really hoped with them making it a Santa Fe it would be in a similar ball park but when the base model is $5k more then the outgoing model you know it’s gonna get pricey 🫠 at least the new sonata isn’t crazy priced.
So the video has the front end look very nice. On the lot it's completely different. It comes with just the 4 trims no package upgrades. To now get a sunroof u need the limited. Better rims larger tires you need the limited or xrt. The sel has 18 inch tires with a similar rim design to the hybrid 23 santa. The interior is very nice and comfortable good redesign. Now just fix the exterior it looks like they put two legos on top of each other
I agree with the Daily Motor's view of at $50K you better include an electronically adjustable steering wheel. While $48K is less than $50k, it's close enough.
I have a 2022 Santa Fe (which I love) and I think it looks better than this new Land Rover Wannabe. I chose mine because it only had two row seating which gives us more second seat room. If I had wanted a Palisade I would have bought one.
Ya’ll should do a “classic trail” trim level that mimics almost exactly the look of the early 80’s Land Cruiser. Everyone wants that 80’s Australian Land Cruiser look, but the one we all want is not sold in the U.S. (the 2024 “1959” is a step closer, but still not quite, and it’s 60k). Make a budget friendly look alike of the early 80’s Land Cruiser, with Santa Fe mpg’s and light off road abilities for 35k, and it will be one of the biggest sellers ever
Is it me or does this presentation feels like an apple release? The pause when the guy delivers a feature as in a punch line, the camera movement etc. not saying this something negative I enjoyed it, just pointing out what I thought
Hummm… Bluelink at no additional cost… Yeeeaaahhh.. riight.. system comes with the vehicle but then you have to pay up to use it! My GF has a full electric Kona, and from the looks of it will need to pay up a few hundred bucks per year to have the ability to remote start her car since she can’t install another remote starter than the bluelink!
You start designing the front with a lot of enthusiasm. And then just let your kid finish at the back. That's the story of this complete "redesign" of Santa Fe.
The reason why the backlights are lowered is to give more trunk clearance (width wise) compared if the lights were higher. Honestly I like it. Similar to where the G-Wagon backlights are.
This is nice! Im not a fan of this new body style. I just purchased in Dec 2023 the 2023 Santa Fe Hybrid - premium and love it! I have the Calypso Red.
Santa Fe in the US finally, yes! 🙌

For an adventure vehicle, you’d think there would be fog lights. I wish they included the massaging seats on the calligraphy trim

Just picked up Limited AWD Brass white interior SWEET
Love it but I think a mistake to not offer a bench seat option for the Calligraphy.
This is exactly what I was saying. I want a bench seat for the second row instead of captain seats.
@@edseldaley2173exactly! Me too!!
Bench seats in higher model. Also low powerful engine.
The solution there is to go with a limited which I believe does offer the bench seats. I wanted the captains seats and picked the Calligraphy.

Get an Auto Broker so they deal directly with the GM not sales people. It's like a Realtor representing you to buy a home. 😉
What are the mpgs?
What is the mpg on the hybrid with AWD
They look amazing! Hope there's more options for interior color tho, not a fan of the white
Will the side view mirrors be self dimming? Will it have an integrated dash cam? These are in the Korean spec but wasn't sure if they would carry over to the North American spec? What watts and amps will the inverter use for the standard outlet in the trunk? Only ever saw this in the Korean spec
Can you still get Bench seats in Calligraphy or only captains chaird
Only captain chairs sadly.
Great presentation. Too bad we can't get the Terra-cotta Orange shown in this video.
Nice video, is the Calligraphy Hybrid in this video in Terracotta Orange or Ultimate Red?
I'm 99% certain it's Terracotta Orange, which will supposedly only be available in the XRT, Limited, or Calligraphy trims and not until May or whenever the Calligraphy model becomes available in the US. Ultimate Red is a typical red color and should be available at launch.
@paulgemperlein626 grt thanks, it did look like terracotta orange but I just wasn't sure.
Would have liked to see details from the 2nd & 3rd row perspective.

That is the dream but XRT is only ICE and only AWD, no Hybrid or PHEV and no FWD
How easy is it to enter or exit for older folks like me? Do I have to climb up to get in?
I'm 71 and it's easy to enter and exit into all areas of the vehicle.
This car is heaven🔥💯
Is that the terra-cotta orange in the hybrid?
Hey Hyundai, great car! Such a privilege to be able to buy a $47k car AND have the engine blow up at 80,000 miles!! you guys are killing it! literally!!!
Trade in at 60k 😉
Im very sad they removed the massage function on the US models. Korea had the massage option 😢
Why??

Any chance of a Hells Gate testing run on the XRT Trim?
What is the delivery date for the Calligraphy to Dealers in CA? The day my dealership gets one I will be there to buy it.
Hi! I work at cardinale hyundai in Glendora, I’d be very happy to help you out!
I appreciate your response, but I have a dealership I'm working with.
How do you open liftgate from inside drivers seat?
no prices ? I thought that was a apple presentation lol
Is there a plug-in hybrid version?
Very good presentation
Does the tailgate rear window go down?
What's the mpg for the hybrid?
Looks like 34 mpg combined total
Aside from the rear , this car looks fantastic . This is what the Land Rover Discovery should look like .
how about insurance market price for this car?
Will the new engine burn oil?
When are they coming to dealership? I cant wait to purchase mine
Some have already came in. Mine comes march. Seems like the calligraphy models are coming last
beautiful car
PHEV coming this year too?
Unlikely
Powertrain?
Looks great! But is it easily stolen?
No. Only turn key ignitions were effected for years 2011-2022. Santa Fes were not really effected as most were sold with push button starts on more recent models.

Good job👏👏👏👏
Clean legit 👌
Hyundai really took these to the next level!
Did they change the sound of reversing with the hybrid? Bcz it is loud & obnoxious. My 2022 hybrid is louder than the Amazon truck reversing.
Should have power tilt adjustment !!! Otherwise, it's such a great upgrade from past santa fe's

The script and tone is so apple
You had me till you mentioned the small motor, should have a V6 awd

Yeah I don’t need a 3rd row, also not liking paddle shifters. Finally that back end. 😮
More money...like 5200 more than 23
That's the trend. It seems like the past 2 years cars bump up in starting price by like $3K minimum.
