Lions so beat up on defense at this point they just signed LB Kwon Alexander, S Jamal Adams, DL Myles Adams and DL Jonah Williams. We now have 8 defensive players who weren't with the team to begin the season. Only have 2 day one starters on the front 7 not dinged up. Hopefully these 2 former Pro Bowlers have some gas left in the tank.
"I liked what we did there" - Matt Eberflus This is one of the most emBEARassing press conferences ever from a Bears coach! This is more than fireable, which is why he was fired.
Lions Defense is full of injuries. I've never seen so many injuries on one side. Caleb started playing well after 4 more guys on D got injured. *On injured reserve:* Aidan Hutchinson, Marcus Davenport, Derrick Barnes, Alex Anzalone, Kyle Peko, John Cominsky, Ifeatu Melifonwu, Jalen Reeves-Maybin and Ennis Rakestraw *Ruled out this week:* Carlton Davis III *Injured in pre-game warmups:* Emmanuel Moseley *Lost to injury during the game:* Josh Paschal, Levi Onwuzurike, Malcolm Rodriguez
@@bradpirochta9293 not 14 but they both got injuries on both sides of the ball just tryna say the fact that you said Caleb was good after they got out is kinda crazy since he’s been doing good against the entire NFC north and Chicago has key starters on defense out too especially in that d line where those run lanes are tearing them up
These fools saying that was a dirty hit on Williams don't know anything about football. Caleb should have went out of bounds. Campbell expected him to go out and aimed for his upper thighs. Caleb stopped and tried to make a move which altered the aiming point and changed the momentum of his movement. Campbell DID hit him in the lower thigh after also adjusting to Caleb's adjustment. Perfectly legal tackle on a runner, which Caleb was once he got beyond the line of scrimmage. Calling Detroit a dirty team is hilarious. Coach Campbell wouldn't tolerate a dirty player. Folks think accidental injuries on legal tackles make a player dirty. Hard hits aren't dirty. That hit with Branch earlier was a misjudgment that he admits was avoidable. Lions have had 2 players taken out with legitimately dirt plays this year. Derrick Barnes on a cut block to the knees (which is legal but was totally uncalled for on the play) and Davenport where the player grabbed his arm and elbowed into his elbow which tore his tricep. Those saying the Lions are dirty know nothing about the team or the culture in that locker room.
They didn't show the taunting penalty on Jamo that led to the missed field goal. Jamo caught a ball and ran out of bounds when #29 for the Bears Tyreek Stevenson (same dude who was taunting the crowd and allowed that Hail Mary) tripped him to the ground then taunted 'get yo b***h ass up' as he was on the ground. That caused Jamo to flip the ball at his face. Good call on Jamo but Stevenson needs to be suspended for tripping him out of bounds. Dude wasn't even in the game at the time and had been giving crap to Jamo the whole game. Grabbing his facemask and shoving. THAT is a dirty play.
Refs missed a blatant hold on that first Allen TD. On the BS PI on Vildor they missed a false start on the RG that should have been blown dead in the first place. Sucks 4 more Lions defenders went down in this game. 2 DL in the 1st half. LB Malcolm Rodriguez on IR with an ACL, DL Mekhi Wingo on IR with a knee, Josh Paschal and Levi Onwuzurike out probably for the Packers game at least if not more. LT Taylor Decker missed this game with a knee/ankle and might miss the Packers game. CB1 Carlton Davis also missed this game and might miss the Packers with a knee injury from the last game. Lions have 11 players from the front 7 on IR and are still winning. Just signed LB Kwon Alexander, S Jamal Adams, DL Jonah Williams and DL Myles Adams to fill some depth spots.
u won the game dawg 😭 and don't act like refs were on our side. missed so many calls in the first half against. ur also acting like the rest of the league doesn't have injuries. the entire bears defense was beat up for lots of the season, nobody was blaming the losses on that. if u guys are that good u shouldnt have been in that close of a game with the 4-8 chicago bears. with a somewhat competent coach the game wouldve went into ot or u guys wouldve lossed.
CW has an accurate canon keep it between the hash marks man. it gives the defense no time to react. How many times did the Bears receivers drop a pass that hit their hands. I spot 11 to 18 points off the board from misses
He seems to have problems with intermediate passes and laterally while scrambling. That was the scouting on him by the Lions. Keep him under pressure and moving sideline to sideline. That one TD on Branch I think was after Branch sprained his ankle and the coverage was called wrong. We usually play man at the line and switch to zone after the play starts. I think Branch thought Joseph had the guy going deep.
@@helmedon he throws hard. The receivers need to learn how to catch the bullets. If you keep it to down the middle the defense has no time react and with his arm they must defend the outside. It's his first year on a bad team with horrible coaches. This reminds me of Peyton Manning in his first year with the colts. honestly dropped passes left 10 plus points off the scoreboard. CW almost beat a good team with no help.
I was trying to figure out what he was doing. Looked like he was pleading for a call or something. Wouldn't have made it into the endzone anyway and likely would have been lit up by Kerby Joseph.
The bears O line Sucks RN. Could be coaching and play calling, rewatch the play just before the last play of the game. One man blocking air while someone runs right next to him straight at Caleb. Poor kid has been sacked and chased more than a chicken thrown in a fox den. All of these offensive weapons in recievers wasted
That was Za'darius Smith jumping the cadence and just plain beating the RT there. He's been coaching up the Lions D line since he got here about listening to the cadences and anticipating it. Seemed to work a few times. Those guys playing on the D line weren't even with the team at the start of the year.
He saying all this about Caleb but he wanted him over Jd 😂 dude is a 🤡

CW is not an issue. They need a re-build on coaching. I mean all. The entire team is under performing. The offense is frying my brain also.

Why was no pass interference called on last play of the game we got hit come on ref make the call😮😮😮😮
Off topic, but Odunze probably could have caught that if his dumbass didn’t slow down for no reason.
