Your numbers would look different if JB hunt increased our pay to 70% instead of 65%> I worked at prime and they pay 71-72%, now JB hunt is a lot bigger than prime so I don't see why they can't increase our percentage pay to 70
I worked for JB Hunt for 3 months until recently. Never went home for reset and ran hard. Take home average was around $ 1,500 per week. For you guys to decide if this is the right job for you.

@@Truckingwithceddynah it was a quick recovery depending on how well your surgery go. Could’ve went back after two-3 days but I just took a week After surgery they’ll force you to walk to get the pressure off your chest that’s the only thing that really sucked
What do you do for health insurance? Do they have health insurance options for IC? Dental, vision? I been a JB DCS local driver for 12 years and make $83,000 per year 50 hours per week average home daily and after taxes and all premiums and 401k etc I take home around $1,100-$1,200 per week but been thinking about going out on my own at some point but want to try not to have a truck payment or at least a small one. Im saving up still so im n9t ready yet but I often worry about what ill do for health/dental insurance and if they offer good plans or similar to what I get now on company side?
@cesargonzales5459 no truck payment and running hard easy 2800 to 3k but the next will be low because you won't have any hours if you run 8 to 9 hours a day 3 or 4 loads 2000 to 2300 easy not working hard this week only 2 loads take home will be 1300

They do have insurance but I'm not sure of the price

How can you tell if they overcharge you on tolls because they take a lot in tolls in my pay
I have a flat fee of a 100 aweek no matter what last week it was 126 but the gave me a credit

Basically it has more live loads and live unloads on there customers that only ship maybe 1 to 3 loads a week
