Wolf eliminators rarely work on violins. There is not enough vibrating string length between the bridge and tailpiece on the violin. Also the string length that is there is under much higher tension. Hope that helps, thanks for asking!
It seems the wolf tone IS the a-string. It might have something to do with the "D'Addario Helicore Cello Single A String, 4/4 Scale, Medium Tension" Steel string titanium wound. Come to think of it, I only hear it at times when I just play open "A". At least I dont have other wolf tones, I guess I cant really complain.
sean change your a string and maybe get your sound post adjusted. talk to a luthier. nothing is wrong but your situation may have to do with how your cello is set up
Muchas gracias maesto. (soy violinista, argentino y jubilado docente) Argentina. k.anton.
Chinese erhu standard playing procedure is a bit of cloth or sponge under it's two strings just beyond the bridge for similar problem.
what is that gorgeous intro/ outro music? i would love to know
It is! It is Chaconne 1st Movement played by the Russian Bass Quartet.
Would this work for violin wolf?

@@KCStrings Thank you for your response, Any suggestion on what could I possibly do to get rid of my violin wolf then?
@@raghav6151 That is mainly done with a soundpost adjustment.
I have wolf tones on my A string on my cello. Do you recommend a kind of wolf tone eliminator? The one you used isn't on your site.
The wolf eliminator we used in the video is the best. We sell them in our retail shop and will put them up for sale online soon too :) - Anton
