Hello, my name is Woo Kim. I live in NY, usa. This is how I catch carp in the Hudson River. I do catch and release. You can also watch me fishing using rods and reels on carp fishing 2.
Always good to see a new approach to carp fishing - thanks for sharing with us your unique style. Hand lining those fish in, must be a lot of fun, feeling their power, literally, through your finger tips !
Thank you very much for your comment. I acknowledge that my fishing style is kind of tough for the carp, especially my landing net.. I need to treat the carp like a pet.
The important thing is that you have a real passion for carp fishing and already understand a few things you can do differently with carp care down the road. The only times i've hand lined in carp is when my rod snapped, or as a very young lad, fishing with but a spool of line and hook, free-lining out some floating bread. Sometimes we allow technology to overtake us and forget where our love for fishing began! Tight-Lines and look forwards to seeing some more of your videos in the future! John/CarpQuest

Man. Good fish in that weather
Bravo, maestro!
I......I can't even explain what I just seen......did you make all of that yourself? It's custom made?
I purchased the aluminum spools and the bite alarms but custom made the others.
can you please tell us where was this video taken, lake?
