Great coaching and Thairo is badass and a great Giant! Weve been Lucky to Have awesome 2nd baseman from Robby Thompson, Jeff Kent, Joe Panik, and now Thairo has 2nd on Lockdown! Go Giants

I appreciate this. Trying to help my son get ready for highschool baseball. He's always been the best infielder on all his teams. This is gonna help him go to the next level.

Thairo is a good player. I hope his fractured hand heals well. He may be unable to play for at least two months. He is one of the best players on this rebuilt team.

No shift mean reaction time and range have to improve. Thairo is my fav Giant but he does need to improve his first step. I love the ESPN - Mucho Dinero line.

Big facts, especially if the ball is grounded towards him, he can get to it quicker and get the out. Lets hope we see it in action come opening day.

Kai is the man, but I don't understand these MLB veterans needing so much instruction with footwork at their accomplished level. Seems they should already have the footwork, angles and technique down to just putting in solid reps.

Feels like this kind of training is developed from the result of watching footage and figuring out where you can improve; can hear Kai saying "you do this a lot" in reference to certain tendencies. The difference between those two jump-step forms is minor, but habitual, so you gotta train into a new habit

I also think with the new rule changes with no shift they have to put in even more work

At the highest level of any sport, athletes are just trying to get 1% better. It's not that what Estrada was doing isn't good or doesn't work, it's that it's not the best way of doing things. These are just little adjustments that will allow Estrada to get to the ball a little quicker which can make a huge difference at the highest level.
