- Hey guys, TheSupremeRk9s here! Today it is finally time to crawl back into the shiny hunting vault & face our demons.. Today we must rewatch & relive my old cringe-worthy shiny Pokemon fail videos!! Ive been shiny hunting for almost 9 years, so naturally shiny pokemon have perished at my hands.. I'm truly sorry -- all we can do now is continue on & rebuild the wreckage left behind. I manage to show Shiny Giratina & Sigilyph, the 2 huge ones everyone remembers! There were a few more that I reacted to but decided to leave out since it was more or less the same (2 more exeggcute, boring!!) Thank you guys so much for watching!

The only Pokémon that I ever failed was a Shiny Bidoof in Diamond before I got pokéballs.
Well, at least the only one I remember. It’s terrifying thinking about possible failed Pokémon we got when we were kids.

I remembered when i failed my first shiny it was also my first shiny legendary it was a latias who struggled to death and then reclaimed it 4000 encounters later and then a shiny pheromosa that took me almost 10,000 encounters thankfully i didn’t fail it and recently I caught my third shiny legandary which was palkia under 400 encounters and now I’m hunting for uxie

Me and my sister quote the shiny Giritina video everytime we see Giritina, and it's the whole reason I pronounce Giritina with a j sound, one of the funniest videos ever lmao
The Giratina one tho! Sometimes when I close my DS, the game freezes up. This mostly happens with DP, or Mystery Dungeon Sky. Not sure why, but I guess the game cart moved a little or something lol! But you got a subscriber! Keep up the great videos!

I failed a shiny golbat in the safari zone, I wasn't hunting or anything, I did get pretty triggered though...
a shiny is a shiny, and safari zone shinies are even more worth but ehhh... I do like him :/
Determined Games You are luckier than me though. I failed a shiny Regirock after only 8 encounters. Lucky I reclaimed it after 2172 encounters, but a legendary fail is still a big fail for me(btw it was in Ultra Moon and I soft resetted over it).
a fail on something that can't run is a mistake, it can sometimes be hard to avoid these mistakes though so you really need to prepare good when hunting certain pokemon. Of course when a geodude uses selfdestruct in a random encounter you're unlucky, but when you're hunting a beldum with take down you should have a ghost type pokemon to prevend it from doing recoil. There was absolutely no way I could've prevented the golbat from running. But good that you still got the regirock! Personally I never hunt legendaries or pokemon with selfdamaging moves (I did hunt a smeargle who would have struggled if it had failed to sketch but I let it sketch false swipe) Failing happens to everyone though, and it's no fun. You should always be aware the moveset a pokemon can have (SupremeRK9S failed a sigilith because he didn't know it had whirlwind while he could've easily prevented that)
Determined Games which is why I have googled the movesets of all the legendaries. I'm glad non of them have recoil. Also Regirock luckily is the only shiny I have failed and for each set back, my shiny luck seems to have taken a slight step forward. After reclaiming the shiny Regirock, I got a 14 encounter Palkia, whilst now I am on 1500 encounters for Articuno.
That's pretty good, I don't know how you failed regirock, but everyone can make mistakes of course... and pokemon can crit. Which can be very annoying. It's pretty lame that game freak actually made it possible to fail stuff a rare as this. I personally don't hunt that much, but sometimes I have a little hunt, but I never do that hard ones.
