Combo = mechatronics for robotics & electrical drives Electrical+ CSE combo = to automate the systems with cloud, like I-IOT, ML in Chips, fuzzy logics etc. Electrical + chemical = the most emerging field of battery management system for electric vehicles Electrical+ energy systems = Renewable Energy These are the today's most booming fields, the conventional fields of electrical engineering also already exists there & their govt. Jobs too.
I would love to see an interview with some of the top guns in bits Pilani who are under automotive design or robotics, there's a lot of confusion regarding future prospects and not a very laid down path to follow as a guide. Would be of great help! I recommended this to my ece fellows, and they did enjoy it. Cheers!
Bro you can't bring electrical engineering under this umbrella of electronics engineering, These jobs are one subset of Electrical engineering. Today there is a huge scope for electrical engineering in subjects of Power Electronics, Control System, Machines : Electrical Drives, Then also a very high market boom in Renewable Energy side. So power system + power electronics combo is also booming. Soon I will going to start a RUclips channel, as so called TECH KINGS are not talking about the real stuffs!

@@educationadda2992 Chip design and manufacture are on electronics bro (EEE mostly deals with high votage stuffs) And electronics plays major role in mechatronics and robotics and it also have good scope in CSE But sadly its core industries are dead (almost zero govt placement )in india, hope for more investments for electronics core's industries
I see some comments who are confused about eni.Just keep in mind that at bits, *eni is 98% same as eee* . There is absolutely no difference in terms of future opportunities and placements. Sometimes the av placements of eee are higher and sometimes av of eni is higher.

Whats the point to study at premier institutes like BITS if you don't know job requirements? For VLSI domain ,some roles doesn't have much prerequisite like verification-for which they expect you to know only digital electronics and verilog/vhdl etc. But there are some roles in analog domain which requires deep knowledge of subject. So don't say it is easy. Only drawback of VLSI is that the softwares are very costly so a student can't afford it. So he/she can only practice at college or training institute,that too on education version of software.

I personally think this way... Branch>college.. college is just gonna give you a headstart in your first and second job,after that your skills and work experience is what matters... College tag(other than the premium ones) is just for 4-5 years but your branch is for a life time...And just in case if your really *passionate* of what you want to do then that's a whole different story, branch and college don't matter in that case

I agree branch will stay for a lifetime but anyways people have to keep learning so branch can be switched if it’s not convenient by discovering new things and learning but people around us can’t be changed, they impact us and our behaviour

Please take Cse,future is digital Cse is like pool of jobs and carrers , If you take Cs:Iot,It jobs,Data,Ml,Ai engineer, cloud computing, cyber security.. These things you can learn online,but it need time to learn,if you take another branch and study cs by yourself you can't.Remember we have only 24 hrs a day,every branch is tough.Take care, Once you commit mistake in this stage you can't rectify it

In India you both computer science + computer engineering .. In the US(where I’m applying) they are different fields .. like over there there is no thing called btech..the closest you get is bachelors of science because there is a college of arts and sciences and there is a different college of engineering . Computer science is the actual programming stuff and computer engineering is more of hardware .. but in India . We do a combo of both so that’s the diff

Well the problem in India is that if you get a BS in Computer Science in USA followed by getting a Software Engineering job then in India they do not consider you an Indian because in India Engineer is a protected title whereas in the US its not protected this also includes the United Kingdoms in the UK even a fridge preparing technician can call himself an Engineer

How different is ENI and ECE? I'm interested in processors and I want to work in those companies like AMD and NVIDIA. Can I study in ENI and still try to hit Qualcomm, NVIDIA, Mediately.
