Hi Laurie! I was also wondering if you would ever do a craft room tour and also a display of how you store and access your ephemera and supplies? I was curious how you do that. My stuff is a hot mess and all over the place! Haha! Thank you! Have a lovely day!

JUST AMAZING. I am so impressed at how you can just lay a few items down and wham bam & finished. The best part is how great they look. If I did that they would be a hot mess. I sit & try this, then that, then back to this then that again then scrap that and put something else etc etc and it takes me forever lol. And you make it look so easy too. This is a great video. TFS sweetie.

Hi Laurie! I love this video!!! Thank you for sharing some of your techniques. Your things are always so beautiful! I own a couple of your things and treasure them! I was wondering.... I have literally hundreds if not thousands of little pieces of ephemera, tags, tickets, flowers, vintage photos, etc, that I have bought on Etsy and gotten on Pinterest and have printed them out in various sizes and I sit and cut them out at night as I watch TV with my husband. (Cutting them out ya relaxing to me and I’ve been doing it a long time.). Well, I am getting ready to move into my craft room and organize it and I was just wondering if you have any tips for organizing all your little scraps of ephemera and photos and flowers and images you use for your layering? I am not even sure where to begin… If I should do it by size or color or subject matter and I was just wondering if you found something that works well for you? Thanks again!!!
    Becky

Thank you, I don't have a great answer, because my stuff is all over, but I do keep my flowers in a tin right at work space, I use them a lot. other ephemera is in tubs, drawers kind of labeled. I keep trying lol. Laurie

Hi Daisy - I'll just slip in my humble method, in case it helps. I sort my stuff by size mostly because that seems to be the initial choice when I layer things. I use those small snap "stackable" plastic storage containers and unsnap all of them when I'm ready to start layering. They are easy to snap back together when I'm finished. I sort floral from everything else as a separate subject, but color is generally easy to see in the pile and I don't worry too much about keeping colors separate. Subject matter is also less important to me, except for botanical/floral. I hope you can find a good method.

Kathleen Mower thank you! I just know as soon as I split up the many bundles I have, and sort them via size, color or subject, that I will wish I had sorted them a different way!! 😝
