I watched the Red Skelton show when I was a kid. It was a show my whole family enjoyed once a week. My favorite character of his was Clem Kadiddlehopper.
Absolutely loved The 3 Stooges and especially Curly. Lucy and Desi in the movie The Long Long Trailer was hilarious! - Red Skelton thought he was a lot funnier than he actually was; never made me laugh or smile once but lots of yawns. I love your channel and your soothing voice. ❤
Saturdays of my youth were spent watching the Stooges and Bowery Boys. When I was young, I couldn't figure out why Curly got all the girls. Now that I am a grandma in her 60's, it's obvious! He was charming and adorable, despite his weight. God Bless him and all the Stooges. 😊
I feel i was lucky enough to see him in Baltimore, Maryland. I was giving my girlfriend a birthday gift (ticket ) to see him. Took along her mother and aunt. Wonderful evening. I loved his show and the characters he played. 🙂💙
Please do a pecial video on all the Little Rascals, only said what happened to a few of them after they had grown up. many thanks. Loving the videos, they bring back memories from the 50s and 60s for me. Good times, clean entertainment, no sex, violence, bad language and drugs in the show.
Sorry but you forgot “Little Alphalfa and Little Spanky”. I would’ve enjoyed hearing about them both too. I really loved 🥰 Darla, she was beautiful 😻!! Everyone just loved her so very much ❤😊🖤🦄🦋🌈💕💜🩵🇺🇸🇹🇨🏴🇬🇧. 55:45
The most underrated star of the 50s was the Big Bopper, JP Richardson. The third dude who died in Buddy Holly and Richie Valens' plane crash. He was hilarious.
The first 'dirty joke' I ever heard was in a Red Skelton skit. Freddie the Freeloader offered a half smoked cigar to his guess star. The guess star asked if it was clean to put in his mouth. Skelton improvised: "Nothing a little penicillin won't clean right up." The guess star lost it and took a full minute to recover. I was ten years old and knew I had just heard a 'dirty' joke on TV but it would take a few years for me to understand it.
Ted Healy suggested Curly shave his head. Moe owned the barbershop where he had it done. He was always embarrassed by his bald head. That's why he often wore hats.
Now wait a minute! I always thought that Lucy arnez and Desi arnez Junior were twins! This is sure new to me because I always thought that they were twins!
Shemp did not leave the original 3 Stooges because of Larry Fine’s drinking & abuse - he left because Ted Healy (who brought “his stooges” together) treated them like crap. Do better research!
He got that wrong. It was Ted Healy who drank and had a temper. Healy was a childhood friend of Moe, and he had Vaudeville act. Healy hired Moe and Shemp to work in the act as stooges, and then he hired Larry.
How could Desi and Lucy be an interracial couple? He was ethnically Spanish, i.e. European, just as Lucy was. The mere fact that someone is from south of our border, does not make him or her non-white.
@@anitahernandez6787 Yeah. No crap. That’s south of our borders. I’m from the US and yet I’m considered European ethnically. Same with Desi. His family ultimately hailed from the Iberian peninsula making him not only European ethnically but Celtic.

Dad liked Red.
Thank you for the memories. Time flies. May All those wonderful stars that I grew up with rest in peace. You're not forgotten.
Curly was everyone's favorite. But it is nice to hear how Moe took care of his little brother. Class act.

I was just a kid, but I didn't get Skelton's humor, either.
One of Lucille Ball's earliest acting roles was in the Three Stooges' short "Three Little Pigskins" released in 1934.

I was young, but I remember watching the Red Skeleton Show and watching his last show in 1970. Grandma thought that he was silly.
Skelton, not Skeleton. LOL He was hilarious, wasn't he??
I remember hiding under my desk, at school! We did it at least three times a week!
Used to watch the 3 stooges saturday mornings when I was a kid.My siblings and I would get up at 7 trying not to awake the parents.

I saw Red performe in concert in 1980. It was a phenomenal evening.

I loved that he would laugh at his own jokes. I liked Gertrude and Hecliffe.
Lucy and Curly were in a picture: The Three Little Pigskins.
Shemp left the Stooges because he was hired to play in the Joe palooka Series in Hollywood. I heard that from Moe himself
got to see Rick in person great show
Ricky Nelson was a dream teen😍
My sister used to say, "I loved the slow, sexy way he closes his eyes when he sings."
I saw him in person once! At the state fair. Naturally, I had a crush on him, too. I was around 11.
He’s right. Don’t do that to Larry!

Correction...Moe passed in 1976, not 2001.
He was really special!!
Curly is my favorite stooge of all time's

@davidhack4515, I think she was born a couple years before he!! 🤷🏼♂️ 🤔
@@lylecoglianese1645 yeah, I'm just now finding that out and that's something I didn't realize because I always thought that they were twins!
@@davidhack4515, I never really thought about it. That was too long ago for my brain to really care! 😵💫
LOL - Siblings! Lucy was the eldest.
What about the tragic death of "Alfalfa"
Lesson, don't bring a knife to a gun fight

👍👍👍👍
Curlie was my favorite 💕
Ricky & Lucy was my favorite & of course Ricky Nelson
Willie lump lump, Freddy the freeloader, cauliflower MC pugg, sheriff Deadeye
I have only seen two direct descendants of Petey and my oldest nephew had one of them! Jada, was nothing but a big baby!
Curly!!
Wow! Larry Fine drinking and raging? If true. it's really a surprise

@@stevegallo8483Thank you! I actually came to the comments to make that correction
Who is Paul and Lucy? Am I supposed to know?
SHUT UP!!! I'm from Massachusetts!!!
