It was fun seeing Addie slowly turning into a sports (boxing) fan. They make these movies so personal and this one brought everything about Adonis into light.
33:40 Sylvester Stallone said in an interview that he was never contacted to reprise his role as Rocky and didn't know why but he wished the best for all those involved.
He retired the character at the conclusion of Creed 2. People need to stop acting as if Stallone got slighted by not appearing in Creed 3. He literally had an IG post shortly after Creed 2 came out where he explicitly said he was retiring the character and passing the reigns over to Michal B. Jordan to continue the “legacy”. 🤦🏻♂️ He also said he won’t work with the Creed/Rocky producer Irwin Winkler again, which also attributed to him not being in Creed 3. He’s been fully supportive of MBJ throughout this whole thing. Why everyone is trying to turn his Non appearance into something it wasn’t is beyond me…
@therealmistahjay He didn't retire the character. If Stallone wasn't that vain of himself, he would've retired John Rambo at the end of 4. A perfect end to his character finally coming home from The Pacific.
@@aTofuJunkieWe all love Stallone, but he has been back and forth about whether he retires his characters or not. With Rocky, he very much put out a post after the release of “Creed II” saying that this would be his final time playing Rocky. When it came to “Creed III,” he was indeed approached to appear, but a combo of things, according to him, ultimately led to him bowing out. He cited the script going in a darker direction than he would’ve preferred, and also his role wouldn’t have been substantial anyway…. But probably the biggest reason for him not reprising Rocky is that fact that Irwin Winkler was involved, and he has specific beef with him because Winkler has refused to relinquish the rights to the Rocky character to Stallone.
28:53 There was a nice heart to heart conversation in the dressing room between Adonis and Viktor Drago deleted from the end of Creed II that I feel (even more after watching III) should have been left in. It makes the fact that they are friends in this movie make more sense.
When the mother died it would've been nice to have some mention of Rocky there. Like have Adonis on the phone after the funeral and say something like, "Yeah. I know. I appreciate you calling, Rock," before hanging up the phone. Then have Adonis tell Biannca that "Rock sends his love." They also mentioned Adonis having a rough relationship with Apollo's other children. Seeing them at the funeral could've added to the story as well, I think.

I hate to say it, but I actually didn’t miss Rocky in this one. Finally, we have a story that is squarely about Adonis. The first two are so tied to Rocky’s mythos, it was actually a bit of a breath of fresh air to have a story about a point of Adonis’ life that hasn’t been touched upon, and a part of his life that has NOTHING to do with Rocky. I love Stallone’s Rocky, but he would’ve served zero purpose in this story that is ostensibly about Adonis and Damian. Rocky would’ve just been there, just to be there… and I think THAT would’ve been more of a disservice to the character. Not mentioning him or not having him appear, I think was ultimately the best decision. Creed 2 gave him a great send-off. This one was about Adonis, and about something I don’t think Rocky would’ve had much to contribute, story or character-wise.
@@SilentBob731 I'm not sure that's true. Dame has a very high fight IQ and uses it to his advantage. He knows what the ref can see and how to hit where it hurts. Stallone has issues with Irwin Winkler and his sons, he would like a little piece of ownership that he created and its characters so he could leave them with his kids when he's gone. He also didn't like the direction the 3rd film was going to head in, he said it was too dark and that the world is too dark already. Rocky was made to inspire and give people hope is what he said, but he did have regrets about not being apart of the film. Stallone won’t be back as Rocky in the Creed movies. Too much bad blood between him and Irwin Winkler. But he says he’s been developing a new Rocky solo movie where Rocky trains a young immigrant fighter.
As before, Creed doesn't make the villain a black and white bad guy, and there is still an element of progression for Adonis. Very glad you watched all the Rocky and Creed movies.
Hey Addie how did you get your whole RUclips started what apps do you use to react and how did you do your thumbnails could you help me I am trying to get started
Not sure she will see your comment and answer, but I can help you a bit. If you want to do thumbnails just like her, it's fairly easy to do with Gimp. Gimp is like a free Photoshop, and pretty easy to use. You see several elements in the thumbnails: a background color, a poster of the film, and her face (a screenshot from her video). You can watch youtube tutorials on how to make this. For my videos I use Adobe Premiere, which is more than enough for this kind of editing if you want to do reaction videos. Premiere is pretty hard at first, but again just watch tutorials, it comes quickly. My best tips if you want to do reaction videos and get successful: 1) be regular, so be sure to post fairly often; 2) make sure you have a good camera and a good microphone, because these days you have tons of competition, and people will just pass if your quality is subpar.
Nobody will argue with that. I would add that it is better than Rocky 3, 4, and 5. I would say only Rocky 1 and 2 were great, while the rest just declined in quality until Rocky Balboa.

Yeah, this was where I got off with the series. This one really didn’t do it for me, which sucked ‘cause I was really looking forward to it. I missed Rocky, but I don’t think that’s what pulled me out of it. I had some problems with the story and the flow of the movie. A lot of tell and not enough show for me. If they make another one, I’m sure I’ll check it out, but this is probably my least favorite of all the Rocky/Creed movies.
I think Michael B Jordan is going to be a very good director. The final fight was well shot and I'd like to see more of it in whatever he ends up directing next. That being said, Creed 3 is horribly written and barely believable plot wise, and that's saying a lot in this franchise. I went into the IMAX theater hyped on opening night, left severely disappointed. MBJ's visual directing at the end is the only reason i have it higher than Rocky V.
Let's give Addie a round of applause for officially completing her Creed quest, and the ENTIRE Rocky Saga, with Creed III (2023). 👏👏🎉🎉 Despite the absence of Sylvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa, this is my favorite of the Creed film series. My girlfriend & I saw the movie in IMAX, with the aspect ratio of the arena fight sequences opened up to 1.90:1, and we both enjoyed it. To get a glimpse of how those scenes looked, here's the IMAX trailer for the movie. ruclips.net/video/pT6Ds-h_Rj0/видео.htmlfeature=shared
Although I think I liked Creed 1 and 2 slightly more, I did enjoy this one too. 🙂 I particularly liked the way the fights themselves were shot, and I thought the way the background audience disappeared and they made good use of silence in the final fight was pretty impactful. Also, regarding Rocky himself, this felt like a very good way to show that the series itself could continue without him appearing, although as a very minor quibble it did feel thematically slightly odd that Rocky didn't make an appearance or mention at Mary Anne's funeral since they were so close from the prior films. And on a side note I enjoyed seeing Drago as a minor character who wasn't an antagonist, it felt like a good callback to his redemption arc in Creed II. I know Creed IV has already been announced (and there's already rumors about a "major character's death" which would be totally in line with this series, it seems like almost every film features a recurring character dying at some point!) But honestly, after this film, I'm kind of hoping that at some point they do a jump forward in time and have a film where Creed's daughter takes up the mantle, a movie following a deaf woman climbing the ranks in the sport could be pretty interesting!
Creed III didnt need Rocky. Rocky in a Creed movie would basically be a version of Mick. So Rocky fans if you want to see Rocky in the future Creed movies I hope you're prepared to see Rocky die.
In this movie, Sylvester Stallone wasn’t here due to illegal dispute with I forgot who, but at the same time, Michael B Jordan thought it was best for Adonis to continue on without Rocky in the movie because it’s Creed’s story now, not Rocky’s. That’s my understanding of why Rocky isn’t in the movie.
Sylvester Stallone said in an interview that he was never contacted to reprise his role as Rocky and didn't know why but he wished the best for all those involved.
This movie was disappointing to me. It made me almost hate Adonis, for being blind, stupid, and an asshole. It's also predictable, contrived, and just unnecessary
Supposedly Stallone was never invited to come back for this film, for some unknown reason. My personal head canon is that Rocky moved up to Vancouver and finally established a good relationship with his son and grandson, a fitting end to his story as far as I'm concerned
It's because Irwin Winkler who now owns the rights to Rocky hates Sylvester Stallone. There's some animosity between them in the past.

Please continue with the Star Trek franchise.
See Mission Impossible, Mad Max, Fast and Furious and Monsterverse franchises.
6:32 And you probably won’t for a while 😬
Can we please have Sonic Movie Reactions next, please 🙏?
Creed III didnt need Rocky. Rocky in a Creed movie would basically be a version of Mick. So Rocky fans if you want to see Rocky in the future Creed movies I hope you're prepared to see Rocky die.
great reaction! u should watch million dollar baby sometime another boxing movie
*Please React Best Evergreen Movie - "Sooryavansham (1999)" , I'm 100% sure You won't regret, believe me:;:*
It’s way too bad about Jonathan Majors he’s such a good actor. He ruined himself. Sad to see.
does anyone know why she stopped reacting to the daredevil series??
This movie was disappointing to me. It made me almost hate Adonis, for being blind, stupid, and an asshole. It's also predictable, contrived, and just unnecessary
Supposedly Stallone was never invited to come back for this film, for some unknown reason. My personal head canon is that Rocky moved up to Vancouver and finally established a good relationship with his son and grandson, a fitting end to his story as far as I'm concerned
Make me sad 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Creed 3 is so pointless I can’t even watch this reaction.
Worst movie in franchise besides rock 5
Every accusation you make is really a confession on your part.
